Stayed in the 1st week of January and they only have a portable heater. Wasn't able to get a good sleep because of the the noise coming from cars. The only good thing is that it's very close to Penn station.

The staff was accommodating and kind. Clean, good security. Noise was typical NYC. One block from MSG and by great bar (Walter’s) and deli (Gardenia). Coming back next year for sure.

There was a weird stain on my bedsheet that made me slightly glad I was only staying for one night. It also can be quite loud at night so I recommend taking the earplugs in the lobby and you’ll probably be fine. Aside from that, the only other real downside was that its stairs, no elevator FYI

The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately the hotel is old and required using staircases to go up and down. We only needed a bed for the night so not complaining. Just providing info. The neighborhood is dirty but again for a night not bad. Location in terms of travel is great. Very Close to trains and subway.

Enjoyed our stay! Hotel was nothing special, just an old building with a basic room to stay in, but there were no major issues. The location is fantastic for getting around NYC, and the value is commensurate with the price. The affordability made it possible to stay in Manhattan rather than some place out in the sticks. Wifi was sketchy. No elevator. They will store your luggage if you go walkabout before catching a ride to your next destination.

You get what you pay for with this place. The Room was tiny and hot… I had to sleep with the window open all night (in December) just to cool it down. Check in agent did NOT care about his job, and was a really bad communicator. Very convenient location, but I will not stay here again.

It was good for a night. It is a small hotel but if you´re looking for a place where you can be near the center of Manhattan and not pay much, this would be the place for you.

We stayed here for night as we wanted to be near Penn station. It suited this purpose. We had not realised there wasn’t a lift, so faced carrying luggage up 3 flights of stairs. However staff were very helpful and found us a room on the ground floor.
