Girls trip back at my hometown
I usually stay in Brooklyn when I go back home to NY but since it was a girls trip we decided to stay in Manhattan. First the first property that I originally purchased on the site was damaged per Muhammed. He then offered me a discount to a smaller property which I agreed to the property, it was small. I had no time to rebook a different property..There was no closet space and only 2 towels for a four night stay..Mohammed was on site several times and I called him when I couldn’t get in the property, he did bring more towels. Mohammed was very nice and was prompt to any response or problem I had. The lower Eastside has come along way. I felt safe only because I’m a native New Yorker if you’re not from NY I can see it being sketchy because the projects are across the street from the property. Overall, it was a good spot for what I paid for.

Had to cancel last.minute
Unfortunately we didnt get to stay at Mohammed's place due to last.minute health issues with our family. Mohammed was helpful in trying to fund a new set of dates for us to reschedule; however it would include paying 50% more to secure the property. We opted instead to cancel altogether and forfeit the reservation.

Really great find & really great price !
Everything was super accurate, it was a comfortable and safe stay in an AMAZING location. I barely had to ride the train since most things were within walking distance. Host was also super attentive! Thanks for everything!

Schlechte Verkehrsanbindung
Sauberkeit ist Verbesserungswürdig, Bad war nicht richtig sauber, Decke war gestrichen und das Abklebeband nicht entfernt und Farbe an der Duschscheibe. Toilettendeckel lose und nicht richtig befestigt. Beschreibung Meerblick nicht von dem Haus aus. Kellerwohnung keine Aussicht.

Good price point but...
The price point as well as the location were good. Public transport, grocery stores and other amenities are very close. The host kindly offered an earlyer check- in time as well as free storage of our luggage after check-out. BUT the appartement was not thoroughly cleaned at our arrival. Mirrors, surfaces and floors were porely cleand, if at all. There was dust and trash in the bathroom cabinets, the shower doors were full of water and soap marks. The shower corners had a thick coating of grime and there was no toilet brush available. The bathroom rug clearly had not been cleaned. The situation in the kitchen was similar. Also the gas stove and oven is not working. There are two electric plates available but only a very small pan and pot and no toaster. As we informed the host about the state of the appartement unfortunately he was not helpfull.

Everything went pretty well initially, Muhammad sent me all the check in info and everything was straight forward. I got in late and the check in was super easy, a plus for sure. That’s when things started to fall apart after a closer look. Let’s start with the bathroom, there wasn’t enough wash clothes a towels for us, and the ones that were there were dirty. In addition to that the floor mats were dirty and one had what appeared to be urine stains on it. Moving on there was no extra Linen for the futon and there was something wrong with the sheets on all three the other beds, one had hair on it, and the other two had stains on either the blanket or the sheets. With all that being said, kudos to the property manager, Muhammed He responded In a timely manner to try and rectify the issues. He tried, but there were still some issues that I just didn’t bother to call him about after returning from the day out on Saturday, but you can tell they tried, and at that point I just bit the bullet. I’m not posting this to discourage anyone from renting, but in hopes that it will be better for future guest. All in all if you are looking for a place that is very reasonably priced for New York City, kinda away from the hustle and bustle, and just need the bare minimum or basic essentials, because that’s all your gonna get, but has a great Spanish restaurant just around the corner, then this is the place for you.

Conforme à nos attentes, Appartement calme et propre, bien équipé (mais sans bouilloire ni machine à café dosettes), proche du centre de Manhattan. En sous-sol, accessible par escalier intérieur. Bon contact, Hôte disponible et à l’écoute. Je recommande ce logement, parfait pour un séjour à NYc
