Overall I enjoyed my stay but the room could’ve been a little cleaner. The area around the property didn’t appear to be that safe but I didn’t have any issues. Dutch restaurant was great and so was the staff.

I love this place and have stayed multiple years in a row over the holidays! clean and spacious, short walk to neward penn. they didn't have the room we reserved this year though so we had to move mid reservation... aside from that it was great!

Our stay at this property was truly enjoyable. It was clean, well-maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel safe throughout our visit. We appreciated the convenient parking and the extra layer of security, both inside and outside, which added to our peace of mind. The accessibility of the elevators with key codes was also a nice touch. Dining at Dutch’s was a delightful experience; they served delicious meals for both dinner and breakfast, and we found the prices to be quite reasonable. We genuinely had a pleasant experience overall, but we do have a small suggestion. It would be wonderful if the beds were a bit larger and if there were more spacious area rugs to enhance comfort in the rooms. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Hotel was fine, The bartender at Dougs was great
The hotel itself is fine- nothing exceptional, but perfectly serviceable for a place close to Newark airport. However, the bartender at Dougs (the bar/restaurant there) is worth mentioning. I was traveling through for one night by myself, and decided to get a beer at the bar. The guy working was named Jason, and without being intrusive or unprofessional struck up a conversation with me and another patron and was able to make an otherwise lonely night at a bar feel like I was visiting with old friends. Hopefully his employers see this and recognize they have a really great employee there.
