As you walk up to the house, you'll see a large patio out front with a table for eight. This is a great spot to enjoy the coastal breezes. Inside this home are rich, dark hardwood floors, wood beam ceilings in the living room, and leaded glass windows in the stairwell.

The home has a bright open floor plan. This common living space is made up of a living room, kitchen, and dining area. The living room showcases soaring high ceilings. A plush couch and additional seating are arranged around the fireplace and mounted flat screen TV. Light the fire as the coastal breeze picks up at night to create a cozy ambiance. Relax on the couch with your loved ones and catch your favorite program or movie on TV.

A few steps will bring you to the fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen has all appliances a chef could need to whip up anything from a scrumptious snack to a gourmet meal. Seating for two is placed at the built-in breakfast bar creating dining space and a handy way for guests to keep the chef company in the kitchen. Place your meals on the dining table with seating for six.

If you prefer an alfresco dining experience, you are going to love the back patio. There is a BBQ perfect for grilling up a nice meal. A patio table and chairs encourage you to dine and sip on a glass of your favorite wine outside. Bicycles are tucked away in the garage. On a gorgeous afternoon take them out for a spin and explore the exciting city of Corona del Mar.

Upstairs consists of the master bedroom and bathroom. The spacious master bedroom has a luxurious king bed. The bedroom is equipped with a flat screen TV and French doors leading to a private balcony with peak-a-boo views of the ocean. The master bathroom calls for a slow and peaceful morning with a large bathtub, dual sinks, and standalone shower.

A guest bedroom is on the first floor of the home. This bedroom is furnished with a bunk bed and doors to the backyard. The bunkbed is a Twin over a Queen. A full guest bathroom can be accessed through this bedroom or the hallway. There is a garage with guaranteed parking for your stay. Our property does have air conditioning.

Perched above the cliffs of the Pacific Ocean, Corona del Mar lives up to its name, “Crown of the Sea.” Locals call it “CdM,” and though the chic hamlet is part of Newport Beach, it has a vibe all its own, with vintage cottages and stunning new houses side-by-side on flower-named residential streets. Visitors can enjoy restaurants, music spots, and gastropubs to feed their hunger for diverse dining. If you enjoy an active lifestyle, Corona del Mar’s beaches provide the perfect backdrop for jogging, ocean swims, and stair climbing. Regardless of how you spend your day in Corona del Mar, the community’s Inspiration and Lookout Points are two of the most magnificent places to catch the stunning sunsets.

The home is located a short walk (15 minutes) to CORONA DEL MAR STATE BEACH, a great family beach and a popular place for swimmers. Known as Big Corona Beach, Corona del Mar State Beach is a half-mile long sandy beach framed by cliffs and a rock jetty that forms the east entrance to Newport Harbor. The beach is popular with surfers, divers, volleyball players and sunbathers.

Corona del Mar offers beautiful sandy beaches and coves that look like they came right off of a movie set. The sunsets here are incredible, so bring a picnic and enjoy! Corona del Mar State Beach held the first major surf competition on mainland America in 1928 - the Pacific Coast Surf Riding Championships.

If you want to visit the DISNEYLAND, our property is located just under 20 miles to the resort and its two main parks - DISNEYLAND and DISNEY'S CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE. Laguna Beach's PAGEANT OF MASTERS is in July and Lyft or Uber is the easiest way to get to the event.

The property is in a great location. Check in and check out we’re easy to navigate. Some of the amenities were sparse and there was a bit of wear and tear that could use updating, especially the washer and dryer. Hot water heater was noisy. Manager made sure any issues were dealt with quickly and efficiently, which was a real plus! All in all in was a pleasant stay.

The five of us stayed for a week in this amazing property. Everything was perfect for three kids and two adults. The property was immaculate and in an absolutely perfect spot. Everything in Newport Beach, including the beach, was within walking distance and it was a simple drive to everywhere else, including Disneyland. The owners were very communicative, check in and check out was easy. 10 out of 10 stars, would absolutely recommend, AND come back.

Hard to summarize. The house is in corona Del Mar in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. Some activities are a little ways away but we walked to almost everything. The closest beach is a short walk away and a nice walk over a flowered bridge (Goldenrod footbridge). The house was perfect and super clean. It has a washer and dryer which made life easy to do laundry while there. You can eat on the landscaped front porch, the back covered patio, the kitchen nook or the dining room. Gorgeous kitchen and all the supplies you need. We cooked out one night on the well maintained grill. There is a garage but plenty of street parking. We lose white noise and loved they had a few fans we borrowed. Several restaurants, a grocery store and pharmacy in walking distance. Really good vacation. I don’t like crowds so this was way better than being right on the ocean front for me.

Dahlia cottage is an amazing place and location
The property is beautiful and very well kept in an amazing neighborhood . My family had fun walking to the beaches almost every morning and evening. We also loved walking to the near by parks, restaurants and shops. Even in such a great location with a lot of stuff to do, it was still quiet at night and the beds are very comfortable so we got a lot of good rest. My two kids loved the bunk bed. Overall, a great experience. We plan on booking it again in the future when we visit Newport Beach.

Perfect retreat
The home was perfectly equipped and cozy. Located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of wonderful shops, restaurants, and the beach, it proved to be perfect for our visit with my son. We loved reading and relaxing on the upstairs master patio, and the living room couch and window seat were perfect for afternoon naps.

Wonderful Neighborhood
I loved this property - especially the neighborhood. It is a charming spot for walks filled with quaint cottages and lovely flowers. The site of the house was close to restaurants and gardens, such as the Sherman Library. I live in a high-rise apartment in a downtown area of California and this property restored my need for tranquility and a sense of peace. You feel the ocean breezes while sitting in the front or back patios. You can take walks along Ocean Blvd enjoying the beautiful vistas of the Southern California coast. Corona Del Mar is not the place to go if one is looking for an active night-life; but, if a visitor wants R & R to enjoy birds, flowers, nearby ocean views, and intimate restaurants, this is the place. I plan to go back.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful house in CDM for a nice long weekend getaway. The place was spotless! We had a welcome card/bottle of wine that was a wonderful surprise. We are hoping this will become our 'home away from home' every time we come to Corona Del Mar to visit our daughter who lives near by. Would definetly recommend!

Peaceful Beach House Really Delivers
The property met our needs perfectly. This quiet Corona Del Mar neighborhood was close enough to the beach, shops, restaurants, etc. to have anything we needed without the hustle bustle of the boardwalk. We were five adults and one toddler. There was plenty of room for us all. (A real plus was the gated front yard which helped us keep up with the toddler). Well stocked and well maintained, this home was more like staying at a friends home than a vacation rental. We would walk to the beach, bike rentals, coffee, and food. We really enjoyed the front patio where we would dine or relax throughout the day. It comes with bikes, everything you need for the Beach, even beach towels! We will be back. Thanks Scott.

Awesome home in Corona del Mar
We really loved our stay here! Full size kitchen with everything you could need. Nice flow between the kitchen, dining and sofa for chatting with family and friends that came for a visit. Linens were high quality and home was very spacious. Nice welcome by property manager. Patio was great to sit and relax with a big dining table, umbrella and extra chairs. Nice to have BIKES and beach items included. We took a 5 hour bike ride! Thanks for a lovely CDM stay!

Hidden Gem!
We stayed in this lovely sun filled home for one month. Right from the start we were happy with our decision. The home was clean, quiet, light and bright. The front patio was warm and sunny. We found it to be the perfect spot for outdoor entertaining. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals and all of the appliances were good quality and all worked great. Walk out the front door into a charming neighborhood that is a quick walk to the beach, a park or to shopping and dining. We loved the farmers market on Saturdays that was a short walk from the house. The master bedroom has a terrific mattress and a small deck to enjoy. Parking in front of the property was never a problem but having a garage was a big plus. The bikes in the garage were perfect to ride to the beach and explore the area. We can not find a single negative to our stay. The home and location exceeded our expectations in every way. Scott the property manager was always available and information in the property he provided was organized and helpful. We hope we have a chance to stay in this lovely home again in the near future!

Surprise Trip for friend who finished Chemo.
Our experience was great all things considered. The place was nice and the location to the beach was amazing. The heat, if you need it, doesn’t move around the house as well. If you’re like our group who came to celebrate and exciting time for a friend, you’ll need to watch your volume inside and out as there are neighbors who will ask you to quiet down. The neighbors were quite friendly considering it must be annoying living next to a short term rental property. Me and friends would stay here again if we were to revisit the area.
