Stayed for a little birthday getaway and so glad we chose Mill street Inn. It was amazing! Bed was comfy, the fireplace, shower, balcony everything was perfect! Friendly staff and the welcome drinks and treat bag were just an added bonus. We’ll definitely be back.

The staff was incredible and the amenities were unmatched. Breakfast was amazing and the welcome sangria and spa water was an added bonus. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. We will be back!

We stayed at Mill Street for one night during the weekend before Christmas. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The flavored water, sangria, and goodie bag at check-in were lovely touches. Our room was spacious—aside from the bathroom that was a little tricky for this large person to navigate. Great light and lots of windows. The room comes equipped with a Nespresso maker and electric kettle. The water in the carafe had a bit of a chlorine smell to it—I imagine that’s just how the tap water is in the area. We spent some time in the lobby area and everyone we encountered was polite and kind. The bed was firm, even with the topper. The pillows, however, were divine. We really enjoyed having our continental breakfast delivered to the room in the morning. Overall, a wonderful stay.

This is a beautifully run small boutique hotel with modern amenities in an historic building close to all shopping, restaurants and the mansions. The only negative I could possibly find is the couple with the barking dog down the hall from us. We would return anyway, loved it!

This is what hospitality looks like
Everything about our experience told us this hotel knows the meaning of the word “hospitality”. As a matter of fact, they excelled at it. On arrival we were warmly greeted in a cheerful lobby. Check in included a little bag of treats and delicious sangria. A welcome surprise was the complimentary breakfast you can order the night before and is delivered to your room at the time you request. The baked goods were fresh and everything was delicious. Staff gave great local recommendations. Enhance your stay in beautiful Newport by booking here. I’ll be back!

We have stayed here at least 6 times as every room is a suite with a king size bed. The rooms are spacious and inviting. Several restaurants are within walking distance as is Bowen’s Wharf. Looking forward to our next trip to Newport

Great place to stay. Great location the staff are really nice. The only drawback is you get more of a continental breakfast served to you at your door and it’s boring especially for the price you pay to stay for overall excellent place
