A weekend getaway with the kids to enjoy the Festival of Lights and Safari Niagara Lights. Staff was amazing. We loved the salt water pools.

Great location, we had the junior suite on the 18th floor and the views were amazing. Loved that it was extremely central without being right in the middle of the chaos.

Bad experience and no follow up!
It was terrible! I brought my Bruce as a get away after her exams to relax. Instead we were woken by a fire alarm at 3 in the morning, with no direction on procedure, whether to evacuate or not. It rang over a half hour and it took over 10 minutes to get someone from the front desk!! I spoke to manager named Jennifer I believe the next morning, to advise of our experience, especially as my daughter suffered from anxiety and epilepsy!!!! She did not sympathetic and kept saying that it’s not her fault that the alarm rang!! I was not awarded any compensation nor felt heard! Jennifer advised she had to speak to fire department and wait for their report and would call me back if there’s something she could do. I have never heard back!! I had hoped for another stay to be covered to at least have a positive experience as we’ve stated at doubletree before. I will never book there again and plan to discourage friends and family going there. I will write a negative review if this is not resolved.
