Welcome to La Villa “Coeur Lagune” on the Little Coast for a change of scenery and total relaxation.
Located 30 minutes away from Saly, discover a wonderful seaside village.
If you're looking for an unusual trip to the heart of a Senegalese village, where you can immerse yourself in the local life of the villagers, you've come to the right place. You'll also have the chance to experience some great moments with the fishermen of Nianing beach, who will offer you fish straight from the ocean. Amy, who will take care of you, can accompany you to the village school if you wish.

The villa is rented for 8 people:
It includes :
- a 160 m² house with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a private swimming pool, a 1200 m² tropical garden overlooking the lagoon (dry in high season), ideal for a honeymoon, a voyage of exploration, a stay with friends or family for a change of scenery far from the stress of your city.
- a 50 m² studio apartment with bedroom, kitchen corner and bathroom-wc.
Villa “Coeur Lagune” is fully air-conditioned, with mosquito nets on all windows and beds:
- It is equipped with a large 80 m2 covered terrace with a large table for 8 people, an additional table for buffets or as an office workspace, a large outdoor lounge and a rest/reading area with a sun lounger.
- a large garden with a 10mx5m private swimming pool, cleaned daily at 2 a.m. by Lamine (except Sundays).

First floor:
- 1 bedroom with two 90cm beds, large mosquito net, air-conditioning and dressing room
- 1 bedroom with 160cm bed, mosquito net, dressing room and air-conditioning
- 1 large bathroom with shower to be shared between the two upstairs bedrooms.
There are no baby cots in the villa.
La Case “Doriane”:
- 1 room with 140cm bed with mosquito net and sitting area with air-conditioning and fan
- 1 small kitchen: 1 electric hob, small fridge, coffeemaker, breakfast dishes, and plates, glasses and cutlery for 2.
- 1 large bathroom with toilet and shower.
The small “poolhouse” sitting area is at the far end of the garden, where you can settle down on the bench to admire the lagoon and the flight of birds, which is incredible, especially in the rainy season when the lagoon is high. You can relax while listening to the birds, and as an added bonus, you can also have a visit from the little monkeys. We're on their territory, and they'll be more scared than you, so don't be afraid.
Amy, the housekeeper/cook, will take very good care of you, so you can rest easy as she manages the whole house for you.
The villa is her place of work, her presence is mandatory, she comes 6 days a week, her hours are generally 8:30am - 5pm or 9am - 5:30pm.
You will pay her on the day of your departure, 8 eu per day if you are 6 people and 10 eu per day if you are 8 people.
If you come at the weekend, you'll have to pay 10 eu for Sunday.
She can accompany you on shopping trips, order fresh fish, prawns, lobsters delivered to the villa, eggs, fresh chicken, which she will cook for you.
She can cook local dishes, cookies or pancakes for your snacks.
She'll teach you how to make bissap juice or a local dish if you like - Amy's a real sweetheart.
She can show you around the village, take you to the school in Nianing, introduce you to the shops...
Bed sheets and bathroom towels are provided, but not pool or beach towels.
At your arrival: A bottle of mineral water will be in the fridge, as well as washing-up liquid, a rubbish bag and toilet paper.
Cleaning products for floors and bathrooms are included in the rental price.
Common consumables must be purchased on site.
After payment of your reservation, I will send you a contract by e-mail which you must return to me.
On arrival, you will be asked to pay a security deposit of 200 eu for a weekend, one or two weeks and 300 eu for longer stays, to be given on the day of your arrival.
You will have to pay for electricity, the meter will be read on your arrival, we advise you to turn off the air conditioners when you leave the villa.
Electricity will be deducted from the security deposit on the day of your departure, (woyofal meter so easy calculation).
For a successful vacation, we have produced a practical guide for you with good addresses and a long list of excursions to make, it will be sent to you by e-mail after you have signed and returned the contract.
Transportation:
We've selected two good driver-guides for you.
If you need them, they'll be there to wait for you when you get off the plane (at your own expense), and they can also show you all the sights in the area if you wish. They're reasonable in price and serious, so you'll have a great time in their company.
A large number of visits are possible, all of which will be noted in the welcome booklet you'll receive by e-mail after booking:
- A list of tourist attractions,
- The list of the best restaurants and restaurants with private beaches will be in the guide you'll receive by e-mail.
As you can see, our aim is to make your trip an unforgettable dream, and we'll do our utmost to provide you with advice whenever you need it.
You can park a small car free of charge under the shelter.
A camera surveillance system has been installed on the outside wall of the house (on the street side) just to keep an eye on any “prowlers” in front of the house. There are no cameras in the garden or inside the house.
Parties and gatherings are strictly forbidden.
To enter the residence, which is private, the identity card or passport of all occupants will be requested on arrival by the security post.
You may not invite guests who are not on the signed contract, except with prior authorization.
Any person not registered at the time of booking will be charged 20 eu/day extra. If you are more than 8 people, the security post will not let you pass the residence gate.
Any damaged item will be charged.
Trust me, Villa Coeur Lagune is for you, I will be very attentive to your requests throughout your stay, thanks to the free wifi, we can communicate easily according to your desire.
Traveler access
We can send a cab to the airport for you to pay.
To gain access to the Villa, you will need to report to security, who are instructed to let you in.
The keys will be given to you by Amy, Bruno or the security guards after checking your identity (you will have named the first and last names of the occupants of the villa on the contract you will receive by e-mail).
No overnight arrivals.
The entire villa is accessible to 8 tenants,
beyond the 8 people registered, no other person will be able to stay in the villa.
Other remarks
We insist on the fact that a contract will be sent to you by e-mail after your payment and that it is obligatory.
You will also have to accept the presence of Amy, the housekeeper/cook 6 days out of 7 and you will pay her 8 eu per day for 8h of work if you are 6 and 10 eu per day if you are 7 or 8.
It's her job, we impose it, she's lovely and you agree to accept her presence and pay her.
In Senegal, it's common practice for Senegalese women to work in villas - it's a highly sought-after profession.
You can't pay her and ask her not to come - this is Africa, and housework has to be done thoroughly every day to avoid pests.
The pool fitter/gardener comes 6 mornings out of 7 for 2 hours for maintenance, which is of course at our expense.
Electricity is at your expense, the meter will be read by Amy on arrival in your presence.
You will hand over the security deposit when you receive the keys. Electricity consumption will be deducted from the security deposit on the day of departure.
