The Black Oak House is inviting, clean and stylish and is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. We are in a wonderful location perfect for vacationers as well as weekender's. The Black Oak House vacation rental is best suited for short term stays ranging anywhere from a single night visit up to a maximum three week stay. We are very close to Trilogy, the beach and many popular central coast wedding and party venues!

Totally private - cozy hideaway ideal for two people, possibly up to four people. Guests have complete privacy. However, your host is nearby – ‘invisible but available’.

This peaceful home has one (1) bedroom with one (1) queen size bed and one (1) double (full size) bed, a sitting area, large walk-in closet, TV and a full bathroom with shower. Bedroom has french doors leading out to the patio. The living room is spacious with a vaulted ceiling and also has french doors that open onto the patio. The kitchen is well equipped with full size appliances for all of your culinary needs. This house also includes a dinette area and kitchen counter bar with stools. The entire house is bright and cheerful with natural light.

This house is nicely furnished and has all of the comforts of home. Featuring; high speed secure WIFI, HDTV, streaming, and a clothes washer and dryer.

Outside you will enjoy a nicely landscaped fenced patio. Includes a full size Weber propane grill. There is parking next to the house for up to two vehicles. Black Oak House rental is situated behind the main house on a private road. There’s lots of space surrounding the property and behind the house are 8 acres of open space with many oak and eucalyptus trees which are home to various wildlife. Including soaring hawks, quail, bunnies, owls, hummingbirds, butterflies and horseback riders.

Had a wonderful stay. Came up to the central coast for Thanksgiving with family. The unit was very well appointed for cooking. Very comfortable in a nice neighborhood, quiet and close to everything g we needed. Thanks again for everything. We’ll be back.

This was a great find. Home was very clean and absolutely comfortable and cozy. It truly had all of the comforts and feelings of home. Hosts were great and communicated well. This home was close to restaurants, attractions, and beaches. Definitely looking at returning and staying here again if we can. If you’re considering staying here, please do so. You will not be disappointed.

Great long weekend
Wonderfully peaceful place to stay. Host is a great communicator and very easy to work with. There are really friendly Horses and a goat down the pathway. You can have a visit from a very sweet puppy as well, if you open the gate. House is well stocked, and everything is as pictured or described. Highly recommend this peaceful country estate.

Countryside Getaway
Great location, and size for 2-4 people. It is 15 minutes from Santa Maria to the south, and 15 minutes away from Pismo to the north. The house may be behind the garage of the main property but you wouldn't know it while you are there. It is spacious, clean and provided what my wife and I needed during our vacation.

Property is fine, VRBO not so much
I tried to cancel my 2 day stay over 24 hours before, and got no help. The person I was visiting got very sick, so my trip was not needed. The insurance was worthless in this case, and although I asked for even some credit, VRBO did nothing for me. Going to use a hotel next time since I was charged for both days and got no credit.

A Home for the Holidays
I spent Christmas at Black Oak house with my son stationed at Vandenberg. It was the perfect location, central to what we wanted to do at SLO and Santa Barbara. The fully stocked kitchen allowed me to cook him all the meals he was missing.

Lovely, Peaceful Stay - Spacious, Homey Environment
We stayed for a week. Has all the amenities if you want to stay in which we did for the most part. The house is close to the main house as well as neighbors so voices do carry. I found myself talking in more hushed tones than I typically would so as not to disturb the peace. We visited San Luis Obispo about 20 minutes North and also checked out downtown Pismo Beach not too far away. PiWhole Pizza on Tefft was fantastic and the local Vons had everything we needed for groceries. The host was around if needed. We ran into her 1 morning as she accessed the entranceway area where our car was parked to get her horse feed out of the shed there at the top of the driveway. We frequently heard rural sounds of horses and a rooster crowing. The home was immaculate and has a very spacious feel with cathedral ceilings and doors leading to the outside patio from both the living room and the bedroom. We may come back next year for our annual trip.
