This cozy wooden cabin is located in a completely secluded location. Here you can enjoy the view of peaceful forests under the southern slope from the mountain Spåtind. The beautiful nature with streams, forest ponds and hiking trails is an El Dorado for those who want to go on quiet and undisturbed walks. In season you can pick mushrooms and berries and in late summer explore hidden bogs with cloudberries. The cottage is traditional and old-fashioned and fresh water is fetched from a borehole by means of an electric pump. There is a bio-toilet, thanks to which the hut leaves little trace in nature. The whole "North Torpa" environment offers an originality that can be found only in such high mountain villages. Forests, mountains, quiet forest ponds and mountain lakes are in the immediate vicinity. The network of hiking trails is well developed and suitable for those who want to take slow leisurely walks, as well as for hiking enthusiasts who want to climb the peaks Høgkampen or Spåtind (1417 a.s.l.). Langsua National Park with its open fell landscape is only half an hour's drive from the cabin. There you stand with both feet in the suburb of the national park Jotunheimen. In winter, it is a skiing paradise with a groomed network of cross-country ski trails stretching for miles across mountain slopes and plateaus. For those who want to hike or snowshoe, there are also endless possibilities.
