Pool Closed facilities closed on New Year’s Day
Swimming pool was closed down on New Year’s Day, Room should’ve been cheaper because the facilities weren’t available. The pool closure which wasn’t explained in the booking. TV in room kept freezing trying to watch James Bond film. Later in the evening tried to watch New Year’s Eve fireworks on TV still freezing in places and pigmentation On the screen didn’t enjoy it at all. I filmed it on my phone to make a complaint at reception, but they didn’t care. Last time going here been here a few times before this time was treated very badly not again.

A good price for a nice stay.
Had a lovely time. The staff were very helpful. We had a nice room. The bed was comfortable but a little soft for us. Very hot rooms. We turned off the heating and opened the windows. A lot of Mold, spiders and cobwebs around the windows. The pool area was great. We had slippers and robes provided, very helpful for walking to the pool. Breakfast was a bit of a free for all, would have preferred table service.

Wasn’t able to get food as fully booked but never got told to book until arrival. Had to eat elsewhere. The tv didn’t work in the room and the bed was very uncomfortable. Very disappointed in the stay

Don’t stay in room 504 unless you want to hear everything that is going on in 505! Hotel ok in parts but some of the older rooms are feeling their age a bit. Second stay here and the room has been poor both times.

It looks better from outside than inside. The place needs some proper TLC, rooms are quite dated with stains on furniture and table so chipped that it felt it’s been picked from the dump. Lumpy pillows need replacing. In overall - pretty average stay for quite a pricey room.
