Good location for bus and train station. It’s beteeen train tracks and a busy main road but soundproofing of windows seemed really good to me. Nice bar area at reception, rooms a bit compact and AC not great so can get warm in summer
Lovely hotel, better than the other Motel one next to the station. This one was clean, better atmosphere and friendly staff. The one by the station has rude staff, wasn't as clean but closer to the city center. I would stay at Motel One City again.
Beautiful newly remodeled facility within a 5 minute walk of the train station. The staff was super friendly and the room was more than adequate. Loved the strength and speed of the free WI-FI,

Wasn’t made aware of construction works happening at the property. Lots of work going on, no bar, no breakfast or restaurant. Disappointing not to be told in advance about this. Work started around 8:30am with really loud noises, drilling, banging etc. Room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom was nice. Hotel staff seemed friendly enough. Fantastic location though, a couple of minutes walk to the station, and only 5 minutes into the Altstadt / City Centre.
El hotel está a un lado de la estación central de Nuremberg por lo que todas las zonas turísticas importantes están a distancias razonables para conocerlos a pie.
Overall not really a positive experience. The accommodation wasn't worth the price. The positive part was that everything seemed new. The bad parts was the low water pressure and shifting water temperatures, which mad it hard to take a shower - the television wasn't placed in front of the bed - the termostate regulator for the airconditioner was lacking temperature information, so hard to know how to regulate based on the temperature you wished for - the motel looked closed from the outiside due to missing lights in the hotel intrance - no wake-up service and the alarm on the television didn't work. It just turned on the first channel and didn't make any sound - no in-person checkout.
Clean, quiet and comfortable room.
Very basic room: no desk; only one outlet for charging; no safe, fridge, iron, etc.
Short walk to Train Station, Aldstat, markets, etc.
Air conditioning in room did not work…..management advised maintenance person went home and no rooms available to change to. He said give it time and the room will cool off. Never did! Train station lines just outside of room window so when we opened it to get some air, we could not sleep from all the noise! Nightmare stay!
Everything was ok, but nothing was exceptional. I visit the area often and I think there are better options with similar pricing in the area. Breakfast was ok, but nothing warm to eat. Also the coffee from the coffee machines was awful.
I like this hotel because it is convenient to the places and people I need to visit when I am in Nuremberg. The hotel personnel have been wonderful on each of my stays, and the room, while not large, has been precisely what I needed for my stay. (I am one of those people who uses a hotel room for sleeping, as opposed to spending lots of time in it.) The room was very clean, and the bathroom was spotless. Each hotel worker with whom I interacted was friendly and professional. I will stay at this hotel again when I am in Nuremberg and need a place to stay.
Our one night stay was before a River Cruise and this Hotel stay served well for that. We were within walking distance to the Old Town area for some site seeing and dinner. Good value for the money.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
I stayed at this Motel One for an entire week during Christmas. It's right next to the main station and there's a tram stop right outside the building. You can easily walk into town or take a tram/U-Bahn to Dokuzentrum, Christmas market or other places.
It's a nice hotel and the rooms are functional and clean. It has a desk - which I used to get some work done - but there are no power outlets near it. Luckily there are two sockets on the two sides of the bed but it's not ideal. USB ports would also be great.
The bathroom was modern and clean, the products seemed good enough (although I'm not a fan of body/hair combo products). I really didn't like the fact that there is only a paper cup in the room. I got a glass one from reception (as the paper one leaked after I left some bedside water in it over night) so that can be fixed but it would be nicer if they just had a more permanent cup in the room.
The breakfast was ok. The bread was nice but there were hardly any savoury vegetarian choices (veggie Aufschnitt or spreads) which was a bit disappointing. I'd also have expected some Brezeln - sold everywhere in Nuremberg - on the buffet as well as some vegan milks. After two breakfasts I went to a nearby bakery instead.
Staff were very friendly (reception, house keeping) and the hotel is quite good; noise levels low (you only hear the distant sound of some trains but not disturbing at all). I'd stay at this place again.
