Vuonna syyskuu 2014 otimme kaikki maton ja asentaa parketit kaikissa huoneissa. Lisäksi jokainen sänky on uusi patja, uudet kaihtimet huoneissa ja uuden lämpöpumppu tehokkaampaan ja tehokkaan jäähdytyksen ja lämmitys! Lisäksi toimme uudet sohvat syyskuussa! Se on raikas !!

Tämä kahden tason rantamökki kuuluu ... kaapeli TV / DVD ... nopea internetyhteys .. erilaisia ​​kortteja, ja lautapelejä perheesi ... kaikki ilman lisäkustannuksia. Wonderful beach week
We enjoyed our stay, and the house was great! The door lock on the first day was our biggest challenge. It didn’t want to unlock, but we figured out what it wanted. It wants to be pulled toward you once the code is entered. After that it was smooth sailing. We had to contact the host but the reply and correction was done quickly. The area, people and places, were great. Two grocery stores within a 5 minute drive and some very good seafood restaurants. The bbq grill was great, we used it twice. I took my crock pot with me, we like make head dinners and weren't sure if there would be one. There was, so no need to bring one from home if you're planning crockpot dinners. The kitchen had everything we needed. The water pressure in the shower was perfect. The balcony was great to sit and watch the sunset. The online listing is correct, the stairs to the second floor are steep but doable. We will be booking this again if its available for our annual beach week next year.

the photos made the house look in better condition than it actually was. I believe the house was built in 1979 so it has a good bit of wear & appeared to be a bit shopworn. The main TV in the front area did not work properly; The first floor toilet ran off & on due to what was probably a leak in the tank & the system automatically refilling the tank when necessary; The gate on the lower deck needed a couple of screws to keep the door locking mechanism secure (It appeared that a couple of screws were missing from a block of wood on the gate;) the screen door on the upper sliding glass doors was stuck, I could not get it to close; The lower sliding glass doors had no curtains, so at night with it dark outside & lights on in the inside it was like you were on display; The house is not for those adverse to stairs, It has the normal exterior stairs however the internal stairs from the bottom floor to the upper floor are steep & somewhat difficult to negotiate for anyone that has a problem climbing stairs, walking/balance issues, knee issues, etc; There were no traction mats for the tub or the shower that would have made it less likely for someone to slip & fall; the floors have some places that kind of sag; the appearance of the gas grill on the lower deck was not conducive to using it; we did use the charcoal grill in the yard; The price may reflect the overall condition, I don’t know. I’m not that familiar with prices on Oak Island. Overall, not bad but a little disappointing.

Relax with Tropical Debbie
Celebrated my birthday with my BFF in my happy place. Even with Tropical Storm Debbie we had a relaxing enjoyable stay. Great location with perfect views of the ocean. Easy access to the beach made it perfect to enjoy the sunshine the last four days.

Adorable Beach Retreat
Such a wonderful property situated directly on the beach. This home has a great deck with plenty of outdoor furniture. The inside is cozy with a beach theme. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. Our host exhibited quick and courteous communication. We would definitely return!

Disappointed in this rental
I would not rent here again. The owner was unresponsive to emails. The house feels disorganized, neglected, and needs repairs. There is no attention to detail. There is a view of the ocean but not the sand. Watching your people on the beach from the deck is not possible. There is no water hose to rinse off beach equipment or your feet. From the shower you have to cross the sand to reach the deck stairs, rendering the shower you just took useless. There are no blinds on the sliding glass door in the living room making the TV unwatchable during the day. It isn't a well-appointed kitchen lacking sauce pans and knives. There were 2 washcloths. A main floor bedroom had no remote a the other bedroom TV couldn’t be turned up loud enough to hear it. The upstairs balcony bedroom curtains don’t cover the door so you can’t block the morning sun while trying to sleep. The floor has a large soft spot by the chair in the corner and needs repair. The windows in the other bedroom don't seal well and were wet with condensation. The upstairs bath is super small with nowhere to leave your things. Two of the outside lights didn’t work. The towels were still in the dryer being dried when we got there. The game shelf was in disarray with puzzle pieces loose on the shelves. Things were thrown in the closet under the stairs adding to the feel of general disorganization and neglect. The house definitely needs attention as details matter. It felt disorganized, neglected, and in need of repairs.

Cute house, great location
This is a cute house for a small group. The location is nice and having the beach out back is perfect. Some features were starting to wear and could use some updating, as happens from over use from strangers, but nothing worth not staying here. We had a group of 6 and that was just right for not feeling overcrowded for us! I would recommend.

The location of this beach house is perfect!! We couldn’t have been happier with the location. It’s a private beach, not crowded, and you’re literally steps away from it. The house is beautiful with plenty of room for our family.

Location, location, location!
If you want to wake up to the most beautiful ocean view and relax with a quiet and close (steps away) beach access - THIS is your place! This was our first visit to Oak Island and we will be back! Finding places ON the beach and affordable that allows dogs is usually very hard. Our dogs LOVE the beach, so going without them isn’t an option for us. My 14 year old gets a spring in her step the moment her paws hit the sand. ♥️ This met every expectation we had for location and we are so glad we stayed. The property was clean and equipped with all linens, kitchen necessities and even chairs for the beach! We sat out on the deck for every meal we had at the beach house and enjoyed the beautiful view. When you don’t want to get dirty or sandy, but still want to feel like you are laying out on the beach, just step outside the sliding glass door and you feel like you’re laying right there on the beach. The outside shower was convenient for washing off and cleaning up the dogs before heading back in for the night. The hosts were very friendly and response times were great through check in. Thank you for letting us enjoy this wonderful island and ocean view!

Beach Vibes
Lovely house with great beach vibes. I absolutely loved the color of this property both inside and out. I'd love to know the name of the color so I can paint one of my rooms with it. This house had everything you need to spend a week vacation in comfort. My only advise would be if you are older like me don't sleep on the top floor because those steps are steep. My only complaint is the sliding glass door is hard to open and close and the screen keep coming off track. Other than that I have no complaints. It's a very nice place to spend your vacation. Oh also the walk to the beach isn't far at all. Like down the steps, take a few steps to the left, and over the dunes, and you're there. We even caught a few fish and it wasn't crowded at all.

Wonderful time on Oak island
We had a wonderful stay at the house. Check in was easy. Contacting the host was very easy and efficient. All questions were answered very quickly. The house was well stocked with all the necessities. The beach access was right off the back of the house. We hadn’t been to Oak island in about 20 years and we were reminded how much we enjoyed it. Great get away
We came to the beach for a Thanksgiving family get away. I specifically wanted a place on the beach with direct access to the beach. This place fit that exactly. It was clean, super cute, and has a great view upstairs and on main floor. Since I planned on cooking Thanksgiving meal there I asked in advance if they had specific pans, bowls etc in the kitchen and Jeri was super fast in responding. Needn't have worried, the kitchen is very well stocked with crock pot, blender, platters, 2 casserole dishes, mixing bowls, hand mixer, and the other basics you'd expect. All the furniture was comfortable and best of all we were able to bring our dog with us. He settled in very well too. Considering pets are allowed could not have asked for a cleaner house. I would definitely rent it again! Thank you Jeri, for sharing it with us.

Top of the list is PET FRIENDLY! 🐾 The nice latching gate off the main deck is PERFECT! Both upper & main decks provide amazing views of ocean, sunrise & set with many comfortable seating options and transition into the open living area/kitchen. We plan to return again & again! Great beach house
Jeri was amazing by working with us when there were scheduling issues. House was perfect and right on the beach. House had everything you needed to cook. Each room had plenty of space and their own TVs if you needed to get away. Minutes from a playground for kids, the farmers markets and event space outside, abc store, local restaurants, and two grocery stores. Will definitely come back here!

Very Disappointed
This house had many things that were not right. They say the house is renovated but this is not true. Everything was done on the cheap. The lights on the deck did not work and the owner was no help. The gas grill was listed as an amenity but had no gas and the owner said we had to go get a new tank. There were no bath mattes. The upstairs bathroom had mold all around the shower door caulking. The sliding doors were stuck and the screens fell off every time we opened the door which only opened after a strong tug and then not all the way. The outdoor shower spewed rusty water. There were cockroaches in the kitchen. The kitchen had no hot pads for cooking. The list goes on. I don't understand how VRBO could approve this house especially with the price being asked. Although we would not go back for any price.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect! You couldn't have asked for a better place. The house was beautiful, but could use some maintenence. House is in need of repairs.
Both sliding doors were horrible to try and open and one handle was broken. Several places in the floor were soft and u could tell the subfloors were rotten. Water leak overhead in the laundry room which appeared to be coming from the bathroom above and looked like had been leaking for a long period . Overall a great location on the beach and nice deck. We still managed to have a good family vacation!

The best parts of this house are the main deck with a gate at the steps and the upper balcony deck, both with comfortable deck furniture and great views of the ocean. This is a small home (not a criticism!) which best accommodates 6 adults. Kitchen is well equipped.

Great getaway!
Had a wonderful time staying at this cozy cottage. We were there for a month escaping the cold Northeast weather. Fantastic location on Long Beach, which is just a few short steps away and sunrises and sunsets can't be beat from both decks. Our family of six fit comfortably and the unit had all we needed to enjoy our stay. The property manager was very responsive to a couple of minor issues, which were resolved immediately. We would stay here again!
