Located just 30 minutes away from San Francisco our luxurious suite features a beautiful view towards the Bay and Golden Gate Bridges, designed especially for couples wanting a romantic getaway or anyone needing a relaxing space. Soak and play in a gorgeous bathroom featuring a two-person jetted tub. Easy street parking is always available, and garden lined exterior stairs take you to the private entry and exterior patio. A laundry is provided for exclusive guest use. Hikes into the canyon below or neighborhood above are a special treat.

This studio was designed by owner/architects, located on the lower level of their beautiful Mediterranean styled home, but has complete privacy with a separate entry and patio. The decor is modern and welcoming. The windows overlook a sea of California oak and bay trees to an amazing view of the new Bay Bridge tower, San Francisco, and the Golden Gate Bridge beyond. Fireworks in San Francisco can be enjoyed from the bed or the patio!

The suite features a wonderful king-sized bed; a beautiful designer bathroom with two-person tub, walk-in shower; plus a modern, unique kitchenette featuring Lavazza espresso coffee maker with complimentary coffee pods. Kitchenette includes filtered hot and cold water dispensers, microwave, small refrigerator, induction cooktop, and a "Ninja" oven that can toast, bake, broil, and air-fry! The dining table features a beautiful view as well.

The suite is naturally cool in summer, but an air conditioner is provided for those occasional hot days. Radiant heated floors are marvelous on cool days in the Bay Area. A laundry room with full sized washer and dryer is available for your exclusive use.

But the best part is the view...you can watch the sunrise illuminate downtown Oakland and San Francisco, enjoy ever changing sunsets, or perhaps witness a carpet of fog crowned by a clear blue sky. You will delight in the ever-changing view!

We are often not home and will not meet you unless you want to. We value our privacy and yours.

Oakland is centrally located in the Bay area and enjoys great sunny weather year round. Our neighborhood is called Oakmore Highlands and overlooks Dimond Canyon Park, which features a wonderful hiking trail. It's a very nice walking street, with friendly neighbors. Also very popular with bicycle riders.

Transportation and parking are very convenient. There is ample on-street free parking on this quiet street with only one immediate neighbor. Freeway access is very quick and easy via highway Highway 13 and I-580. San Francisco is about 20 minutes away, or a convenient commute via BART from its nearby Rockridge Station. We are very near the University of California at Berkeley campus (~18 min.) and major highways 80, 580, 24 and 880, which can whisk you to the vibrant galleries of Sausalito (40 minutes), San Jose (50 minutes), or Santa Cruz (90 minutes). If you are up for a day-long outing, don't miss the grand Muir Woods, wine tours in Napa, or mud baths in Calistoga. Quick access to sunshine on foggy days via the Caldecott Tunnel to points east - Orinda, Lafayette, Walnut Creek, and Lake Tahoe (~3 1/2 hours.)

Lovely and Quaint Apartment
My husband and I needed a place to stay while visiting our son who lives in Oakland. He recommended the Oakland Hills area. I soon came across Marianne’s quaint little apartment with views of SF. The price was right too. The apartment was clean with a comfortable bed and had all the amenities a vacationing couple could possibly need. Although we were gone most of the day, it was nice to come back to a peaceful and quiet apartment.

The photos don’t do the view justice! I couldn’t even imagine such a place with view of SF and bridges and with Redwoods just down the street! Walked in the woods, in hilly gorgeous neighborhood and Lake Merritt. Perfect location and lovely place!

Oakmore was a wonderful place to stay while visiting the Bay Area. Well equipped, VERY clean, and comfortable! A nice quiet getaway after busy days of sightseeing. Conveniently located to coffee shops, restaurants and groceries. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This lovely apartment is situated in the Oakland hills with a marvelous view of Bay Area bridges. It is perfect for a couple and makes for a peaceful getaway in a great residential neighborhood with two parking spaces available. The apartment is beautifully decorated and stocked with most everything you could need. Full compact kitchen and comfy bed. Be aware that there are several flights of steps down, but the location makes the walk worth it. The owner is a friendly and gracious hostess. We would definitely consider staying here again.

This place was great! It’s cozy, quite and IMMACULATE! The bed and linens were soft and comfortable, towels soft and fluffy and there were so many extras provided like great coffee, shampoo, soap and body lotion.. Maryann is wonderful..would stay there again!!

Beatiful appartment with a stunning view
The appartment is a nice and cosy place to come home to after a day in the city. Its well decorated, clean en all amenities. The recently renewed sofa/bed is a good sleeper. We appreciated the peace and quietness of the place every night we came 'home'. One thing to take into consideration is that you do need a car..The location is rather far from the city. Also keep in mind the rush hours at the freeways. But latter items are easily solved by planning..just leave after 10.00am en return a little later at night. Altogether we had a wonderful five days in the Bay area and we can really recommend the Oakmore Leimert appt. Many thanks to Mrs and Mr. Miller for their hospitality

We love this apartment!
This is our second visit to this property and would definitely rent it again. It's just perfect for my husband and me to stay in when visiting our daughter and her husband. We were able to cook a meal for all of us in the efficiency kitchen, which has all the basics. The bathroom floor is even heated! Marianne is very responsive. Easy to get to from multiple highways.

The Bridge's View was a perfect location for our trip to Oakland. It offered splendid views of both bridges and beyond, was perfectly located for the 3 different locations we needed to travel to, and had all the accoutrements we needed for a fabulous stay. A cozy apartment with great views
The apartment is nicely set up and has beautiful views of a tree filled valley and glimpses of city skyline. It’s located in a pleasant area, quite hilly - great for walks. It’s perfect for a couple but also ok with +2 kids. The kitchen is well equipped, we cooked all meals there. The host is very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

When we walked in we knew it was going to be a good experience staying in this lovely apartment. It was quiet and very private. The bed was super comfortable plus we had all the amenities that we needed. The view of San Francisco was outstanding.

I can't think of anything I would change about this apartment. We could see the bridges from both the den and the bedroom. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to prepare a meal or just reheat leftovers. There were so many nice little touches - a jewelry holder, lighted magnifying mirror in the bathroom, lots of hangers, a dustbuster, a throw on the couch, etc... We felt right at home. Having the washer & dryer there was so convenient. This apartment is located in a quiet residential area; it was nice to escape the hustle & bustle of San Franciso after a day of playing tourist. There are many nice restaurants nearby. We did not have the opportunity to meet the hosts but they were available via phone/text if we were to have any questions or concerns. They left printed instructions that answered any questions we had. We had a wonderful experience at this rental.
