CHESTER Mökki - rantahotellin laatu

Oakuran ranta on upea ja rento rantakylä rentouttavalle perhelomalle, joka sijaitsee kymmenen minuutin ajomatkan päässä New Plymouthista NZ: n länsirannikolla, Surf Highway 45. Nauti upeista boutique-kaupoista, upeista kahviloista ja ravintoloista.
Jos etsit täydellistä rantalomaa pakenemaan kiireisestä jokapäiväisestä hälinästä, tämä on ehdottomasti sinulle. Kun vaellat polkua kohti, vangitset välähdyksen merelle ja tiedät, että olet aloittamassa jotain, joka on usein tyyppiä, mutta jota tuskin koskaan löydy.

Koko toinen kerros on lavisoitu Master-sviitti, jossa on parisänky ja kylpyhuone, vaatehuone ja nurkka, jossa voit istua hiljaa ja nauttia merinäköalalla.

Kaksi ylimääräistä korkealaatuista makuuhuonetta päätasolla koostuu makuuhuoneesta, jossa queen-vuode, johon voi liu'uttaa ovea taaksepäin ja astua ulos kannelle; jatkuva muistutus ranta-asemastasi, ja ihana kahden hengen huone, jossa kaksi erillistä vuodetta. Relaxing and Private
Very easy to feel at home. The weather wasn’t always the greatest but the house was warm and my husband spent a happy time on the covered balcony gazing at the sea. Lots of walks on the beach and the tracks. The sea was a constant companion. A great escape for a few days. Would like to stay longer next time.

As soon as we walked in could smell the cleanliness of the place. Beautiful decor. Comfortable sofa and great having sky. Loved listening to the waves and close to amenities. So easy to relax and put your feet up. Love the track to the beach and beautiful sunsets

Great location, house needs attention
The house has not been deep cleaned in a very long time. We killed a minimum of 15 spiders during our 3 nights there…one of which was LARGE and in the bed during the middle of the night. We had a water emergency and it took us 4 calls and over 30 minutes combined of our morning to even get someone to answer the phone (even their emergency line). Luckily the water issue was the shower would not turn off, but the water was contained to the bathtub. Otherwise the entire upstairs would have flooded before anyone answered the phone. As a result we only had the very tiny shower to use (master bath was out of commission) for 2/3 of our stay. The agency felt $60 NZ was an amount that we should have been grateful for. I was not overjoyed with this based on the level of the issue, but also did not want to waste any more holiday time dealing with them. Summary: house is in a great spot but until it is under different management with better cleaning I would not stay here again.

Right on the beachfront.
Stunning location, hearing the sound of the waves is amazing. Property needs a bit of updating, the decor is a bit tired and little things like no decent can opener, cutlery was like a picnic set as opposed to real cutlery, old duvet cover with an old stain on it. It is a warm and cosy place for a winter get away.

birthday treat
Chester cottage is waterfront beach which is extremely unique. A weather bomb hit nz so we stayed inside listened to the waves crashing and watching movies with a lovely fire going. Top notch comfortable bed and couch in remarkable beach setting. I wasnt well to do anything but two nights there was peaceful. A unique stay in a beautiful spot of nz.

Lovely location, comfy beds, only complaint was family bathroom is very tiny and has nowhere to put anything, this was not great for three ladies to share. Upstairs master suite is better but door lacks a handle! This should be easily fixed by property management. Overall a pleasant stay.

A great holiday home - just a few improvements could really make a difference
The holiday house is lovely and in a great location. Everything was clean and tidy for our arrival. We had a lovely stay and no issues. The only thing we could be picky on is the condition of some of the interior fittings and equipment. The cutlery could do with a refresh. Some of the kitchen cabinets could also do with a spruce up and one of the handles was broken with tape round it. Lie a lot of holiday houses, there was nowhere to hang coats and nowhere to store shoes. No hooks! Why do holiday homes never have hooks! If you are considering Oakura for a break, overall we would highly recommend it. For the owners - a few improvements as per above would take it to 5 stars!

Awesome place to stay
No cell phone reception in the house, but they lent us a cell booster which was very much appreciated. Upstairs bed was divine - nicest I've ever been in. Windows everywhere to let in the sun. Woodburner fire was great, all stacked ready to light. Will definitely be back, and would highly recommend

Location excellent, inside clean, outside quite a bit of sand and debris (maybe the weather but really needs a good tidy up)We didn't have any wifi which the property manager tried their best to fix.Unfortunately they couldn't get it going which did affect our stay.No ones fault - just one of those things.Would go back again as I am sure this will get sorted
