The home boasts a spacious outdoor area surrounded by trees and a beautiful interior perfect for relaxing with your family while you stream your favorite show. The home also provided 2 kayaks, allowing you to float down the Suwannee River. When you’re in the mood to venture out, take a day trip to Steinhatchee for a day of scallop hunting!

Beautiful Stay
Perfect! It was absolutely just what we needed for our family home away from home while traveling. Our kids loved the swing in the yard. And we got a kick out of the chicken that greeted us when we arrived. It was the highlight of our trip.

Country living with a touch of luxury.
From the moment we pulled into the property we knew it was going to be a perfect place to bring in the New Year. Check in was easy. The home was pristine. Our children picked their rooms and we went outside to explore the grounds. There was plenty of room to run and play. We even had a friendly rooster that came and hung out with us. The grocery store is only a 5 minute drive up the road. The only issue we had was that I didn’t book our stay for a longer period. We highly recommend this property and look forward to another trip here soon!!

We were plesantly surprised. Accommodation was spacious and well kept. Everything we needed in bathroom and kitchen was supplied. Dwelling was clean and comfortable. Ease of checkin and checkout was flawless. The only thing was the lock box color of numbers in sunlight was hard to see. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Jim is very responsive & a great host. The home was festive with holiday decorations and outdoor lights. Very comfortable place to stay. Very cozy & homey feel. Beds sleep great. We decided to rent this property for our annual family scalloping trip. Just 35 minutes to Steinhatchee. We were very pleased!! The home had all of the little things you would like to have to make you feel you're at home!! The house is nestled into a nicely wooded quiet area! Keep an eye out for the deer in the area.

This property was just as clean and beautiful as the pictures. The owners were helpful and communicative and the property was both homey and comfortable. As long as this place is available, I will always choose this as my first rental option in the area. 5 stars aren't enough. We were visiting for an unexpected family funeral, so we were dreading the trip. Having a clean and comfortable space that had everything we could need was huge relief for us. We felt calm and peaceful there. To be able to say we really enjoyed ourselves under the circumstances is a bit of an oxymoron, but I suppose that is saying a lot about the accommodations. Thank you for delivering exactly what the ad presented.

Southern Slice of Heaven
We're a military family in a time of huge transition with no permanent home yet. This is one of the few places we truly felt offered the rest and relaxation we so desperately needed! This secluded and spacious property offed the perfect amenities to fully embrace the great outdoors and surrounding area. We enjoyed the bikes, floats, fire pits - all of it. The beds were even comfortable and there were plenty of cozy linens. The Johnsons were so kind and welcoming, and we were grateful for their suggestions of quality local restaurants. We'd love to come stay again.

Home away from home
This is our 2nd time staying here and we had even more fun then the last. My family absolutely loves this property and will continue to be our choice every time we are in town. From great host, to a cozy stay you'll find this home retreat to be your home away from home. Every thing is thought of from appliances extra blankets, recommendations on where to eat, the host checks in to make sure you are comfortable and need anything but I promise everything you need is there. We enjoyed a little fire with some s'mores with my son's great grand mother to finish the weekend. The pictures, the laughs, the memories we have on this lot are truly unforgettable.

An amazing experience with my mom and son. He met his siblings that weekend and they ran hard in that yard, played in the swing and played some horse shoes. We enjoyed the porch and the privacy of the yard.

Great Place!
This property had everything! The hosts went above and beyond to ensure nothing was missing. The internet even worked great, which is often a challenge in Old Town. The property in general was just very relaxing, the beds were comfortable and it was clean! There were games to place inside and out. The kitchen was stocked. It was just a nice stay. I don’t visit my home town as much because the local hotels are ran down and a lot of the other rentals are not nice. I’m very happy to have found this place. The host were great and I’ll definitely be staying here again.
