ORCAS-SAARTEN VAKAUSKOTI - AASIAN MINIMALISMIT LÄHELLÄ TEHTÄVÄT

Kun makusi menee nykyaikaiseen, löydät tämän hienostuneen Doe Bay -mökin suunnittelun eheyden jalokiviksi (Jos haluat lisätietoja arkkitehdin konseptista, siirry osoitteeseen www. Archdaily / 157449 - Nami an on esillä oleva kiinteistö!) Nami Anilla on omaleimainen minimaalinen estetiikka Aasian vaikutteisiin. Tämä Doe Bayn "mökki" on kevyt tilavuus, joka on luotu näkemyksellä, että jokaisen yksityiskohdan on oltava tarkka ja harmoninen.

Aasialainen teema alkaa, kun irrotat kengät ja don-tossut (varovaisesti mukana) kulkeutuaksesi kevyesti bambulattioihin. Kalustus on tyylikäs ja nykyaikainen; shoji-näytöt vievät heiluvia ovia. Uiminen on myös erityinen kokemus - astut jopa uppoamalla syvälle japanilaiseen kylpyammeeseen. Suihkun toinen puoli on lasiseinä, josta on näkymä pieneen aidattuun puutarhaan. Nice place, with a few quirks
Pros: - Beautiful location, end of the road, but still walking distance to Doe Bay Resort/Cafe. - Great view from deck (but see cons). - Well stocked kitchen, nice gas grill. Cons: - Lot between house and shoreline is owned by someone else, not developed (yet) but lots of no trespassing signs/warnings, so no beach access. - Several other houses close by, not as private as you might expect. - House is very small. - Only one bathroom (downstairs), primary bedroom upstairs. - No dishwasher. Kind of expect that in this price range. - Indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit are useless in the summer due to burn ban. - Japanese shower is…interesting. Not for shy folks.

Pretty zen
Overall it was a very good 4 nights. A little mixup with the key code. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Excellent shower. Kitchen worked well, despite a confused microwave. Views though the floor to 2 story windows were terrific. Very light and sunny. We walked the 15 minutes over to Doe Bay Cafe for dinner the first evening. Also convenient for Moran State Park. Well, it's a small island; everything is convenient. 15 minute drive to the Brown Bear Bakery in East Sound. Great stay. Memorable really.

Perfect Getaway
This property was spectacular. The views from the home are breathtaking. They had everything you could need for your stay. All the kitchen utensils and dishes you would need. The shower and soaking tub were always perfect after a long hike. The fire made the atmosphere even more cozy. We even had doe come right in the back yard. I've never been more relaxed on a vacation.

Spectacular views
Great views. The furnishings and design lend a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. During most of our stay, we rarely saw any neighbors and had lots of privacy. We loved the deep soaking tub. The view from the house is the best feature.

The ad for this place is misleading. The first picture shows a little beach. The cover of the info book when you arrives shows two comfy chairs perched on the edge overlooking the water. There is no beach access from this property. There are warnings to not go outside the property lines, no trespassing signs for the path to the rocks above the little beach and clear outlines of the property lines that do not include a path to the beach or any beach access.

The quiet side of the island
This spot is a true delight. From the porch we spotted seals, baby deer bounced across the lawn, and a neighborhood peacock. The house is beautiful and simple and wish we could have stayed a month.

Peaceful, beautiful water view
We got snowed in for two days and could not ask for a nicer place to be stuck. Plenty of space for 3 people. The kitchen had everything we needed, the view was breath taking through the very large glass windows which were spotless. The beds were super comfortable. There is not much sound privacy between the downstairs bedroom and upstairs loft. Close to Moran State Park and Doe Bay.

Revitalization:
My wife and I needed quiet time away. Needed time to recharge our batteries. This was the perfect location to enjoy the view, sun, quietness and the soaking tub. An added feature we did not expect was the wildlife - there were deer in the yard every day - we could set on the deck and the deer would feast on the grass in front of the deck. We also found a couple of tremendous restaurants - Rosario's dining room and "Roses" in Eastsound. We highly recommend them both. This is a 5-Star house/location that we highly recommend. Peaceful and beautiful
A beautiful spot overlooking the water and islands. Very well-equipped kitchen, comfortable living room and beds. The upstairs balcony bedroom has the same great view as the living room. Be aware, there is only one bathroom and it’s on the first floor. Nami-An is 20 minutes from Eastsound which is where the grocery and most of the shops and restaurants are, and we drove there every day. We thought that trip might be a bother, but it wasn’t. It’s a beautiful ride, much of it through Moran State Park, with water views along the way. And there was little to no traffic during our mid-September visit. We would certainly stay here again.

We loved it!
This house is really lovely. A great location with a stunning view. We couldn't have been happier. The wall of glass allows for a feeling of being outside even when inside. The house was clean, well cared for, and everything about staying there was easy. It was hard to leave such a peaceful setting, but hopefully we will return someday. The restaurant at Doe Bay Resort next door is really excellent. Amazing vegan options. The other food is great too.
