The worse stay out of our 8 prior stays. :
We have rented condo's at the Caribe for about a dozen years now. This stay was the worse of them all. It's not any one thing that happened so much as the sum of the following: 1) The resort has implemented a wrist band policy for all on-site residents. This is without a doubt, cumbersome and invasive. I felt shackled. The guards that police the grounds are constantly asking and looking at your wrist. We expect much better from not only the Caribe Resort but also the parents who don't parent their kids at the resort which led to this problem. 2) The onsite Cobalt Restaurant has not changed its menu in so many years that has become bland. Same old happy hour items, same old "Cowboy Caviar" salsa which is so bland. 3) Every time we entered the resort, we had to wait in line. Such a not needed step which takes real time away from our stay. 4)Renters use to be able to rent from an owner directly. I enjoyed this so much more. Now, you can rent from the Resort, or through VRBO. VRBO has always charged exorbitant fees and when you stay at the same unit the following year at the same time, you pay even more! Somethings not right there! Now, it's customary that an offsite 3rd party "Fun in the Sun Vacation" group is involved in the "Property Management". You get to deal with them too! I was for the first time in my dozen years charged $25 to park my car at the Caribe! WTH! Additionally, there was no Toilet Paper in this old condo when we arrived. DO BETTER for 3K!

Disappointed
Before arriving, the app I was instructed to use wasn’t working properly. This made locating entry instructions difficult and frustrating. Entering the unit, we were overwhelmed with the odor of bleach. We had to open all doors/windows to air it out. During the stay, we found several items in need of repair (locks on sliding doors, dresser drawers). Overall stay was OK. We enjoy the Caribe, but disappointed with this unit. I hope this review will be helpful to resolve these issues for future guests.

Family Reunion Getaway 2023
We really enjoyed our getaway. The property that we stayed in was awesome and very nice. help from the management staff could have been better. But, once they started sending information about check, I would ask questions and I received a respond very quickly. Overall, we had and awesome enjoyable stay. We will be returning.

Not the Best Propetty
While the beds were comfortable and the air-conditioning worked well, the shabby/stained furniture, chipped dishes/crockery, sparsely stocked kitchen, kitchen outlets needing to be restarted, broken light over the garden tub that could not be shut off at night, one set of building elevators that went out, and the lazy River shut-down for repairs without any forewarning made this a less impressive stay. VERY disappointing, to say the least.

Overall very nice
The condo has a great layout, kitchen and family area large and open. The bedrooms are separate and the bathrooms are very nice. The master suite is awesome. This condo has been well used, the furniture on the veranda is mostly unusable, as it has been sun exposed and deteriorated, so that the slings on the furniture has large holes in it. The view is so amazing that i can understand how the furniture has worn out, plus sun is on the veranda for most of the day. There are several pieces of flatware that are missing, which was no problem for us as we were eating with family in another condo most of the time. With a new couch in the living room and repair or replacement of patio furniture, and little maintenance like dusting baseboards, and new carpet in master bedroom, this place would rate five stars. If you have younger children and a fear of heights like I do, it would be a little tough, but most of my family in another condo did fine with younger ones, just glad mine are grown!

We had an absolute blast this week, the condo was clean and nicely stocked with everything we needed for our stay! The kids loved the pools and water slides. The only disadvantage was the walk to the beach it was long with so many kids, but we made it work! We will be returning to the caribe, if only to enjoy the Resort amenities!

Family Summer Vacation
There were 8 of us that stayed this past week and more than enough room. So much room! The kitchen was stocked well enough with utensils and supplies that we cooked all but one meal in the condo. And having a washer and dryer available is truly wonderful! Oh - and the view of the lazy river was great for us to track down and keep an eye on our teenage kids! The only actual (little) irritation I have is that most of the dishes were dirty when we arrived. When we made breakfast the first morning, we had a bit of cleaning to do first, but no biggie. There were a couple of things I wish I would have known (and may have just missed)… - Parking passes were not included with the rental so we had to purchase one for $25. Not the end of the world, but it would have been nice to know. - We brought our own beach supplies, but there were some available to use in the condo. (umbrella, chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, etc) It was an amazing surprise! We just wouldn’t have packed all of ours if we had known. The pools were never too crowded. No matter what time we went down, there were always chairs or tables available. And so many people brought speakers that there was constant music playing! Our kids had a great time and made a bunch of new friends throughout the week. When they’re happy, we know we picked a great spot! We’ll definitely be bringing other friends and family with us next time!

Everything was great in the condo. There was plenty of space and everything went well. The only improvements would be that the floors were a little dirty and turned your feet black if you walked without shoes and we were not told in the listing that no parking passes were included. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and will keep this location in mind for future visits!

The property gave us a lot of options with the children during the rainy days. I loved the condo and the pools. I would probably not stay here again with small children because it is so far to go to the beach. We had to drive with all of our stuff and pay to park every day.

We loved the lazy river and waterslides for the kids. The property needed a little paint touch ups here and there and some signs were a little rusty but our condo was perfect and overall stay was great!

Our experience with resort management staff and maintenance was not good. Our keys would not work and had to be replaced and continued to not work and maintenance was supposed to come check the door lock and never came, so someone always had to remain in the condo to let us in!!! Also, the electrical outlets in the master bedroom only had one functioning socket in each outlet which meant we had to unplug the lamps to charge our phones! Did not report this because we did not want maintenance in the rooms during our brief stay. But the condo is lovely.
