Overall good with a few hiccups
When we arrived, we could not get into the property because they sent us the wrong code in the welcome letter. After calling several times, maintenance called me back with the right code. This was 11 at night and we were exhausted.
When getting ready for bed, we found an icee wrapper in a pillow case in the kids room and the extra pillow cases in the master closet were damped/wet, along with some of the towels in the closets.
We had a very hard time finding the gate key for the amenities area, ended up being in the towel draw under all the towels, hidden.
The advertised photos show a restaurant and ice cream shop near the pool. Both of these have never opened. They do not exist. A local resident at the pool said they were going to build them but decided not to when Covid happened…. She has lived there for 2 years and said there are no plans to open them.
Positives? Very clean and the beds were comfortable. When reaching out to the company iTrip, who runs the VRBO, they were quick to respond. Beautiful new construction and has a garage.
Cons - my son said the shower in the bathroom close to the kids room, was super strong and hurt. The HVAC system left the air very dry. The pillow cases/towels were damp. The icee in the pillow case was gross. They only give you one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one roll of paper towels. We had to buy hand soap and dish soap, sponges for washing dishes, paper towels etc because they barely give you enough of anything.
