Beautiful but lacking
The place is beautiful! It’s in a quiet neighborhood, the dock and view from the backyard are stunning. The cleanliness was lacking. My sister and I both have OCD and we both cleaned upon arrival. The plants were all dead. My daughter went upstairs to shower, and we got a waterfall in the dining room. Upon arrival the front door batteries were dead. A call to Jenn and she advised us to go to the back door that was unlocked. Not only was it unlocked it was open, as the doors were swollen. The carbon monoxide detector was beeping. We called Jenn and had maintenance come out to fix the small problems. For 9 people we had maybe 6 towels and 4 pool towels. There was food left in the freezer. The heater for the hot tub took the full two hours to get up to 95*, we had to start it again to get it to 104* and that took another hour. The walk to the beach was beautiful. The view from the backyard was also stunning. We saw dolphins in the river as well as a couple gators. We loved the big kitchen and being able to cook. My nephews and our kids lived in the pool. Overall it’s a nice place, just needs some maintenance.

Very Disappointed
The pictures online are deceiving. The house needs some maintenance and for the price and location, it was very disappointing. Here are the issues we experienced: Not enough towels at check in (There were no hand towels and we were given 6 bath towels and 3 washcloths for 5 people for 4 nights) Ice maker didn’t work Hot water heater went out Stains on carpets Dirty dishes in the cabinets Outlet covered not screwed in the upstairs en-suite bathroom Leaking ceiling in the dining area with a clear floor covering on top of the table The pool robot didn’t work and neither did the directions left for the pool remote The home had a general feel of needing repairs and for the cost and in the area it was in, that was very disappointing. I read reviews and assumed some of the issues I read about had been remedied

Florida Vacation
Overall a positive experience! We had some issues upon arrival but management and owner were able to solve the issues quickly. The view was absolutely beautiful. We saw dolphins from the pool and even some manatees swam up to the dock. We had a couple of teenage boys that we couldn’t keep away from the dock fishing if we tried! The heated pool was so amazing to swim in and we loved having a large kitchen to cook meals together. The table was large enough for us all and we were able to play several family games! It was such a nice and quiet neighborhood but was close to shops and main attractions. The beach was within walking distance but with the kiddos we decided to drive. We had a blast!

Stunning location, but poorly managed
An ill maintained mess. “Site Manager” Jenn lives 35 minutes away, owner is in the Chicago area. No one is monitoring the pool service or the housekeeping service. Jenn thinks a Keurig single cup coffee maker is suitable for a four bedroom house, and also that a disgustingly filthy Mr. Coffee maker is somehow not her responsibility. There is obviously no check list or inspection after each stay. My wife had to sweep up piles of dog and human hair from a previous stay. I suspect that the owner pays very little for site management, and receives an equal value in return. We had to scavenge for toilet paper for our 5 night stay. The kicker? You’re expected to wash your own bedding before catching a morning plane flight! This is at over $800.00 per night. Full disclosure, we did not have to do the sheets because the house and pool were in a dirty condition when we checked in. This is by far the worst managed VRBO we have ever stayed at. ps, Jenn, if the pool skimmer doesn’t work, maybe it should be replaced. Added bonus, the trash left on the ground by the side of the house.

Overall exceptional communications by Sunil and Jane - appreciate their attentiveness to any questions and accusations for us Property shows nicely has wear but overall worked perfectly for us. We had enjoyed the large kitchen, extensive living space for games and the bedrooms were appropriate with 5 beds The pool / hot tub was great and grill clean! We never used but was nice to know we could have and it was clean

Family Trip
Great location, beautiful view, property manager very responsive. Several little things that were subpar, in our opinion, based on the price we paid. Our biggest concern was that we could not control the temperature in the house. The thermostats had plastic coverings with locks so you could not manipulate them. The property manager was very responsive to our requests to turn the heat up and down, but we did not like this approach. Other things had to do with little touches and attention to detail that make a property exceptional, welcoming, comfortable, and easy.

Incredible !!!
The house is incredible with at least 5 large spacious areas for the 10 of us (5 couples) to hangout during our VRBO holiday. We're all Nashville college friends now living in different parts of the country. The home is very scenic offering many opportunities for great photos during the daytime, and at sunset or in the evening. Plenty of amenities to make for a comfortable weekend. Ample parking out front for 5 vehicles. We've been meeting in Ormond Beach for 10 years, but the previous place was sold off, so we had to look for another location. This home on the river was perfect. The dock was a nice way to view the river and passing water craft. The pool was great for relaxing, favorable temps meant we didn't have to mess with the heater or with the pool side spa. The kitchen and separate dining area were perfect. Hopefully we'll be able to re-book in a year or so. The key codes text and alerts worked just fine,,, we had no trouble getting into or out of the house.

Location on the Intercoastal was perfect. We experienced several issues that we should not have in a property that cost us as much as it did. The ice maker was not working and the spa heater did not work. The house was cold and when we contacted the property manager with our concern, nothing was changed. The primary bedroom mattress was very uncomfortable.

Beautiful Property with Gorgeous Views
Came to the area for a mini family reunion with other family staying closer to Daytona/Ponce Inlet. This was a large home with great space for gathering. Large family room and kitchen with HUGE windows that look out to the pool and water views. Best sunsets and saw dolphins each day. We hung out on the dock; swam in the pool and BBQed with family. Ate lunch in super cute downtown Ormond at the tiki place recommended by property manager. Drove down to Daytona one day which wasn't too far and nice drive along the ocean. Highly recommend the property and thankful to property manager for all her suggestions and help.

Beauty On The Water!
The property was absolutely beautiful, beautiful view and accommodations for our large family. We made memories with family and friends ! Jenn was absolutely amazing, absolutely quick to respond and take care of any of our needs ! We will definitely be back !! My only additions would be a more well stocked kitchen and more towels. I was glad I brought some of both for us. Not a complaint, but just a suggestion for large groups. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay ! :)

The views from this home were gorgeous. We enjoyed the pool and dock and were able to see dolphins from the backyard. The home was large and spacious and accommodated our family well. The property managers were very attentive to our needs.

A person couldn’t ask for anything more, clean friendly and if you need something fixed it was by the end of the day. The host Jenn and Sunil are by far the best hosts we seen yet, there on top of everything they want you to have a great time and we did. We caught all kinds of fish on the dock . Saw seals manatee. Very close to everything you need groceries restaurants beach. I also would like to say this home has a lot of appliances and dishes That most homes don’t provide. Thank you for a great vacation.

Constructive observations.
While the property is wonderful for the price there should be attention to a few items. Upon arrival there was weeks of garbage and recycling at the garage door. The house was clean but very little toilet paper, many burnt out bulbs in lamps, the ice maker was not working, several kitchen drawers off track and not operable, there was but one reading lamp in the four bedrooms and the toiletries were of Holiday Inn quality. This, a five star property, should be over the top in all areas of customer comfort and convenience. I trust this will help with future bookings.

Fabulous property, great location
We came to visit for 10 days in January 2023. This is a beautiful house, in a great, quiet, relaxing location. It was less than a 5 minute walk to the beach, where, if you are lucky you may see extremely rare Right whales, and their babies. That said, it was hard to tear ourselves away from the pool, hot tub and dock. The view and sunsets were magnificent and we saw dolphins almost every day, right off the end of the dock! The house is well suited for entertaining, or just relaxing by the pool. Sunil and Jenn were terrific, and we wish them great success, and we would definitely love to return to this property! We had a great stay at this home. The pool and hot tub were used everyday and there was plenty of space. We also made use of the huge kitchen. They have all the utensils you’d need including two dishwashers. Communication was great and I’d recommend anyone to stay here!

Property Manager - Jenn Boss is extremely helpful and works hard to make your stay a pleasant experience. Jenn is by far one of the most helpful managers we have worked with in our 15 years of renting properties. The pool at this property is wonderful and the night swims were one of the highlights of our vacation. This property is located in a very quiet neighborhood. We plan to return next winter!
