Lower Expectations
Upon check in we were told all the eateries within the lodge were closed for the season with the exception of one. This has never been an issue in the past stays as they regularly had 2 or more options. Still charged resort fees with no amenities with the exception of the pool. Also ice machines were out of service, had to clean the toilet in our room myself. Just not the lodge in memories that we used to visit regularly. Avoid HK’s. Food was awful and a simple dinner took 3 hours from start to finish. Manager refused to speak to me about my cold, overcooked meal.

Check in was a nightmare and took forever. Did not have enough staff on duty to take care of everyone. Did not honor the expedia price that I booked with. Very disappointed! Very unique place and could be nice but right now it is outdated, run down, dirty and smells.

The staff was incredible and the food at the restaurant was just excellent. We had a really good time. The amenities at the hotel were perfect and I highly recommend this hotel resort as a place to stay.

A great stay. This was our second stay. We enjoyed the restaurant and movie theater on the property ! The lost and found service was the best part of the stay. I left my ear rings in the room they found it after we checked out and mailed it to me. It was such a relief and happy feeling. Over all stuffs in the property is very helpful.
