Watermark Beach Resort offers 149 accommodations with DVD players and a safe. Rooms open to balconies. We arrived after visiting the ghost town of Molson in the U.S. just 30 minutes south. I loved relaxing at the pool and watching the kids enjoy themselves flying down the pool slide. Even the three year old could use the slide on her own and the shallow three to four foot pool (an adult was with her of course). There is a lovely sandy beach and lake too. We chose to come in September for a bit more quiet. Weather was perfect. The grocery store right next door was convenient to walk to. Bed was comfy and the room with the kitchen and living room was convenient. I plan to reserve earlier next time to get a lake view.

We booked the townhome lake view and had a great time there. While there could be improvements such as another towel hook in the en-suite bathroom (there was only one hook) and a low chest or similar for placing a second suitcase, the overall stay was enjoyable. There is a patio set and a BBQ right out the back for anyone who would like to make good use of them. The location is central and a short drive to wineries and restaurants. For anyone who would like to explore the town, there are shops and eateries nearby as well. I would recommend this resort. We dined at the resort restaurant, 15 Park Bistro. The food and service were both solid. The staff we encountered from check-in to the restaurant was pleasant and friendly

Not the same place it used to be. All bathroom fixtures were loose. Stuff breaking in the room. Rooms are aged. Maids did an absolutely terrible job cleaning. I actually don’t think they did they just gave new towels. Bed very uncomfortable. Location is good that’s the only plus.

Why have just a room when you can have a lakefront 2-bedroom townhouse? We shared this fabulous unit, steps from the lakeshore, with our friends. With 2 separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom upstairs and a full kitchen, dining room and living room with a sliding door to the patio with a table and BBQ. Hands down the best deal for 2 couples or a large family. The hotel's location to town is unmatched.
