Worn down hotel
First the good:
The rooms were clean and spacious, if somewhat old fashioned though.
Then the bad:
The first glance at Asari Classe Hotel can be very deceiving. On the surface public areas looks flashy and nice. However, a closer look shows worn down furniture, stains everywhere on the carpet and walls, paint chipping off here and there and old facilities. Basically, it must be at least 20-30 years since the last renovation has taken place.
I also remember reading a review calling the breakfast "The Best in Japan". While not fully believing this, I kind of expected the breakfast to be above average at least. This is not the case though. It is ok/good but does not deserve any praise.
Verdict:
I would not stay here again. I did not expect much and I do not mind old fashioned hotels, but a stains everywhere in the public areas makes you want to stay out of the hotel as much as possible.
