Relax with the whole family at this peaceful home, within a short walk on a path, down a hill, to a clean lake great for fishing and swimming. Located in a quiet family friendly neighborhood. Kayaks, paddle boards and other water equipment available through manager to rent/use.
The Cottage at Deep Lake is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home located within a short walk to the lake. A mobile home, it was renovated in 2017 and has fresh white cabinetry, new floors throughout, new furniture and new bedding. It is equipped with a propane gas grill, fire pit, many kitchen appliances, gas stove, free Wifi, a large screen smart TV, fire pit and much more. Lake/beach is a .25 mile walk from the home.

Stay Deep Lake Campground
The house that we stayed in was very clean and user friendly. Back yard was very nice. The house had no toaster or can opener, the pots and pans having the non stick coating flaking off. The linen was done in a soap with a fragrance, which as a former inn owner is not good due to allergies to the perfumes a tenant may have. Sleeping on a bed with a plastic mattress pad is a big problem for a adult. The wifi is very spotty and should not even be put in the advertisement as even available. The beach area may have been in walking distance from the trailer but is not mention that there is a steep decline to get to the water which is a grassy path Not accessible for handicapped persons. We had to find places to swim and to fish due to the inaccessibility to the water. So the website advertisement was very misleading. We will not be staying at this site again and I will never be recommending this place to any one to stay at, As a former inn owner I would be very embarrassed to rent this house out without changes Was not worth the money we paid to stay for a week Thank you for this opportunity to evaluate my stay. It is hard to rate certain things when you actually NEVER set foot in the place you booked!!! A couple of days prior to arriving VRBO sent an email stating the owner had not given check in info yet but I should receive soon. The morning of check in - still no info. We were set to arrive in later (around 9/10 pm). I messaged the owner requesting a code for entry and no response. When we were about 2 hours out - I messaged the owner again with no response again. We arrived and hoped that the office would be able to assist as property is in a campground area. But no one was in the office and phone went straight to voicemail. I left two voicemails and then called VRBO (which were super helpful and apologetic). They set us up in a hotel for the night. In the morning - once the campground office had opened - we received no call back, so I attempted to call again. And again - voicemail. Long story short - we NEVER received any further communication from owner or campground property! Called VRBO again. They were able to cancel our reservation, but the remainder of the weekend was now on us to find a place to stay. So, we had to stay in a different hotel room each night (with 5 females 17 and older). So, every morning we had to pack all our thing up (including food we had purchased for the trip), re pack the car, go do whatever we planned and then check into a new hotel and room, un-load the car and get settled again - just to do it again the next day! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Family Getaway
We planned a weekend getaway the included 1 day at a Waterpark and one day just chilling. This was the perfect place. The house was clean and comfortable. The fire pit was awesome and even came with wood! There was a box of toys that kept my 4yr old grandson busy while the older ones played Clue. Would definitely stay here again!

Disappointed
This message is for the owner. I am sending this to you so you can do what you like with this information. Let me start by saying it was nice for my friends and me to stay in the same place all together. It was quiet and there were enough beds. However, there a lot of things that were left to be desired. #1. We arrived at the address at 4:10 pm. We had not received the key code at that point. #2. Thankfully a neighbor across the street told me where the office was. There was no one there but after searching for a phone number for several minutes we found the number for the manager. I left a message and she (Lisa) called back and said she forgot to send the key code. She gave it to me and we got into the house. #3 The property is spacious but here are the things that I was not pleased about. The toilet in the shared bathroom is wobbly. I expected it to tip over each time we used it. There should be a smoke detector in the kitchen. Not all burners on the gas stove light. The refrigerator was so cold it froze out salad, tomatoes, and cucumbers. I tried to adjust the temperature but the knob had no numbers on it and it had to be turned with a spoon handle as the knob was broken. The cookware was not clean. There were scrambled eggs stuck to the frying pan and the stainless steel cookware was highly stained. We left them cleaner than when we arrived. There were only three regular dining chairs with small folding chairs for the rest. Ran out of room, I will send a second email.

nice place worked well for my wife and I, our son and his and his wife and there three kids plenty of beds and space. Spent one day at the dells half hour drive. One day just relaxing by the campfire. The only thing was the fire pit could have used cleaning

Labor day get away
This is a very nice mobile home with lots of space very nice. the only things that might make it better is if you would replace the trundle bed in the third bedroom with just a regular full or queen bed and maybe a dresser at least in the master bedroom. Outside was beautiful. the patioand fire were nice. The patio could be alittle bigger, but worked fine for just six of us. The beach and water was alittl;e disappointing, but maybe it was just the weather was cloudy and cool. All in all very nice place to stay. Not secluded at all just like staying in a campground. Neighbors were nice and friendly.

Quiet Getaway
This was our third time renting the cottage. We enjoy the simple basics that it offers. The lake is great for fishing and swimming. No fancy water parks for us. I never left the campground, family went horseback riding near Mauston one time. We really enjoy the outdoor patio area, great firepiit and wood is a bonus. A great place to have morning coffee or afternoon cocktails! Lisa was very attentive to our needs.

Comfortable, Quiet and felt like home
We met friends at the halfway point for a small getaway. This property was clean, comfortable and had all of the necessities and gadgets needed to make it home away from home. The area is quiet and the lake very close. The neighbors were friendly and waved as they passed. Lisa was very attentive and was quick to respond. We noted some minor items that could be safety issues for future guests and they were immediately addressed. These were not complaints, just FYI notes for Lisa and she jumped right into action. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Clean and quiet stay close to the dells
We had a great trip! The house was clean and was close to the dells but far enough away it wasn't busy. There is a nice lake with kayaks and paddle boards to rent. We spent a whole day just playing at the lake. Property manager was great with communication and available for any questions.
