You’ll be just a short stroll from the world-famous Palm Canyon Drive as it passes through the Uptown Design District. You will be just a little more than a half-mile from fabulous fine dining, upscale boutiques, craft bars, art galleries and mid-mod consignment shops.
RESORT BACKYARD. NEW SPA AND FIRE PIT
The spacious backyard features a large loggia that functions as an Outdoor Living and Dining Room perfect for relaxation after a cooling swim in the pool. There's a propane fire table here to warm the cool desert nights. Swim and play in the sensual salt-water pool and then bask on a Wet Tanning Shelf under the mod circle sun shade. Not only is there a Pool Heater (Optional Pool Heating Fee is $69/night), but you will surely enjoy the magical cooling work of the Pool Chiller in the warm Summer months. Note that this home now has a wonderful new Spa (as of August 2024) that cascades into the pool. Near the Spa is a new Fire Pit, also. Both of these features were added August 2024 (and have not yet been photographed).
The outdoor kitchen area is furnished with a large Natural Gas Grill and ample counter space. Nearby you can nap in the oversized DWR hammock or bask on a bean bag lounger.
DESIGNER BEDROOOMS
There are four style-forward, comfortable bedrooms, 2 Kings, 2 Queens, and three beautiful bathrooms plus a home office. The Primary Suite is spacious with a large TV and sliding door access to the backyard. The en suite bathroom has a modern, on-point design, ample counter space, and washlet seat. The large indoor shower is adjacent features unique sliding door access to the private primary suite outdoor shower. (There's another outdoor shower for others to use.) Finally, there are 2 walk-in closets so bring that extra suitcase full of clothes. The queen guest room with the retro Jetson bedside lamps and style-forward wallpaper features patio doors to the front of the property which welcomes in frest air and good light through the architectural privacy breeze block. There's no TV in this bedroom. The King guest room features a modern poster bed and large TV. The guest bedrooms share a beautiful bathroom displaying cool art and colorful shower tile by Heath Ceramics. The fourth bedroom is in the attached casita. Fun art and wallpaper surround the queen bed. This room's modern en suite bathroom doubles as a pool-side bathroom via it's Jack-and-Jill ripple glass door. For those who like to sleep in late, please note that several of the bedrooms have high architectural windows without window coverings; this is a typical feature of the mid-century homes in our neighborhood.
The custom and artsy kitchen is furnished with high-end appliances including Wolfe Range, Sub-Zero Refrigerator and Wine Cooler, and Fisher Paykel dual drawer dishwashers. Coffee lovers will enjoy their choice of Keurig, Nespresso, or Mr. Coffee. You'll find everything you need to prepare and serve a midnight snack or a fancy holiday meal.
