MEH...
Communication with the host was literally non-existant. The only reason we finally received a year old paste with the door codes was by contacting VRBO support on 2 different occassions. Automated Host response came 2 hours after checkin time and was the same year old paste. No personal communication whatsoever.. Ants in the upstairs bathroom were making themselves at home. NEST thermostat would backset to 90 degree heat in the middle if the night even after setting on cool. This home needs work and a responsive host..

We have had better stays at a Motel 6!!
The owners told me in a text that I am a "strange person" because of “A little sprinkler issue”. Code for the entire yard and patio were flooded the entire 3 day stay! You see, they knew about the sprinkler issues back in May and July and yet didn’t do a damn thing about it!! Then there was the 5 bath towels for 7 guests, along with the 2 hand towels & 2 forks! So, guess we weren't surprised by their response!! Especially after using HIS husbands illness as an excuse and that they were in Mexico for treatment!?! And yet they had the gall and audacity to call me strange! And have no idea what excuses they gave Crystal L. when she reported also only having two (2) forks in the kitchen, the “little flooding issues” water damage to the wood benches and mildewed cushions! Oh wait, they didn’t tell her anything, because these two never responded!! I’m sure they didn’t waste any time putting everyone's money in their pockets! Much like ours! But that’s what we get for placing too much trust in a couple men from Hollywood trying to make a quick buck and not wanting to invest any time or money in their property!! And then to add insult to injury, they promised a one day refund we never received!! Instead, we were forced to accept nearly a third of what we should have received directly from VRBO! We give this property and VRBO a 1 out of 10 and wouldn't recommend this property for anything!

No air conditioning
It is obvious that the “owners” do not ever stay at this property themselves. My family (all adults) stayed there for four nights in May of 2024. We are mostly from the Midwest and it was nearly 80 degrees inside the house the last two night. The first couple of nights were cooler. I messaged the host through Vrbo because they did not provide me with a phone number. My stay ended two days ago and I still have gotten no response. They already have my money so they have no reason to care but they could have avoided a bad review. We each slept only a few hours the last night and had a miserable day of traveling home. The house is spacious and the outdoor area has a lot of potential. The grass had not been mowed in a while and the backyard sprinkler caused a flooding situation on the back patio for most of our second morning. The sprinklers are clearly aimed incorrectly so they soaked the large wooden seating area and pillows that were on it. It seems to be an ongoing problem as the water pooled in one area of the lawn where the grass had died (probably from drowning). The kitchen was nice for cooking but there were only two forks so we bought more at the Dollar Tree. Palmdale and Lancaster are nearby and have many stores and restaurants to choose from. Their description says the place can accommodate up to ten people but there are only 4 chairs at the table. The couch is large and uncomfortable with the tv in an awkward spot.

Weekend getaway
Our weekend getaway at this house was fantastic. The house was clean and spacious it exceeded our expectations and provided the perfect setting for quality time with friends. The living room and kitchen were well-appointed, it made our stay memorable!
