I checked in and was assigned a room. Upon entry to the room, I noticed that the bed was in the middle of the room and there was trash on the bed. I let the person upfront know and they mentioned they had been renovating the room and it was not done so they would get me another room. Upon walking into my new room, the same situation occured and that room was also not done. Finally I was able to get into a room.

Comfortable bed. Our room was in the back of the building and we stayed Saturday night. There must be a club in the block over because load music going until late at night. If you’re a light sleeper ask for a room in the front of the building

Dirty and disappointing - avoid! After arriving and checking the sheets I went to sleep due to jetlag after long travel and work. I woke up in the night and discovered a dirty sock, and that the floor clearly hadn’t been cleaned due to the state of my clean white socks. On going to make a coffee in the morning, I discovered that the mug was sticky and dirty. A clean room really is the bare minimum and at the price point really unacceptable. Breakfast was limited. Complaint dealt with poorly. Very glad I was only staying for one night.

Great accomodation and location

This was a great little hotel for my wife and I. It is for sure a “boutique” style hotel. The rooms are small and there is a small inconvenience that you have to walk through the bathroom to exit the room, but for just the two of to spend a quick weekend in Palo Alto together it was GREAT! The hotel is VERY close to University Ave where all the restaurants and bars are. And it is a quick Uber/Lyft ride to shopping and other dining.
