Polynesian #104 Ground Level

Polynesian Village Condos is the best kept secrete around PCB. You are literally .25 of a mile from pier park . It is a low rise brown 2 story complex you would almost just drive on by, nestled on the white sandy beaches. If your looking to be in the middle of all the action , and activities , you can walk to pier park from the location- but also stay distance from the large crowds being at a small old school complex. This isn't a high rise, there are no elevators or parking garages or arm bands to purchase ... you park at the door and you go on into the condo – sounds easy ? it is!

1 bed 1 bath condos with sleeper sofas can sleep a nice family easily. Wake up to the sunrise , walk to Starbucks if you like , or catch the sunset with ease just out the slider door. Walk with your wine to dinner at Pier Park , catch some songs at tootsies. The events and possibilities are endless. Full kitchens to accommodate the gormet cook or hit up Dustys Oyster bar , diagonal from the complex. There is a on-site relaxing , never over crowded , simple pool to jump into on the lake side , or feed or fish the lake . Sometimes you may catch a local alligator in that lake , just keep your eyes out .

Les pieds dans l’eau
Deuxième fois que nous séjournons au Polynesian village,le cadre est idyllique . L’appartement mériterait toutefois un petit coup de refraichissement(canapé sale, baie vitrée qui ne se ferme pas, l’eau de la douche s’évacue mal). Mais notre séjour a été formidable et nous rentrons en France qu’avec de merveilleux souvenirs.Nous avons bien l’intention de revenir à PCB

Simple small apartment
Location was perfect, view was spectacular. The beach wasn't crowded at all. The room is fine if you are interested in just a place to sleep and shower. That was all we needed. Perfect size for the two of us.

Great location!
Great location with beautiful view of the ocean! If you like spending your time at the beach, on the beach, it doesn’t get any better. Far enough away from any condo towers to keep the beach area from being crowded!

Very disappointed
Check in was great. Location and view was amazing! Rooms wasn’t very clean. Several things broken. (Screen door, vanity in bathroom, etc). Stove was shocking us. They did come look at it and just said we will see if it’s under warranty. We had already went and spent money on food to cook for the week. So we were out that money plus having to eat out then. Washer didn’t work that’s on the property. Vacuum was full of nasty green water or something. I reached out about all the problems we had after the stove and didn’t get a response. You also only get 1 wash rag and 5 towels for the week. Very very disappointed with our stay this week.

Loved the location and convenience to all the local hot spots. Bonus umbrella and sand castle toys! Bedding a bit tired (could use a new foam mattress pad). Living area rug needs to be replaced. Lastly, the shower drain needs cleaning (slow draining).All over score 5 stars. We will be back for additional stay in the Fall.

Beware not as described!! Contacted owner of property and never heard back from them! Sliding door does not not lock! Toilet seat was broken. Smelled horrible from cigarettes and Marijuana throughout condo. Dirt on walls, floor and couch. Not clean!

We were super disappointed in how dirty the condo was upon arrival. The furniture was soiled, the floor left our socks black on the bottoms and we found dirty dishes in the cabinet. We actually went and purchased cleaning products to clean the condo before we brought our stuff in. Besides needing a good scrub the condo really needs to be freshened up with new paint, the broken lock on the sliding door fixed and the peeling tile on the wall by the third sink needs to be replaced . The outside patio is nice unless it rains and the interior rug that is out there gets wet and smells like mildew . The one nice thing about this rental is the location is awesome. It’s an easy walk to the beach and the pool located across the road on the back side of the condo is nice as well. The overall area of Panama is nice and offers a lot for teens.

Short getaway at PCB
Cute.worked well for our family of 4. Location, location location. Close enough to walk to Pier Park and the Pier, but not super crowded or congested. Any question we had were answered quickly by the property manger.

If you’re looking for simple - this is it
Overall we enjoyed our stay. If you’re looking for luxury, this isn’t it. The property could use a deep clean and an overall refresh (the bathroom towels are tired, the couch is extremely dirty, the pillows in the bedroom were super flat and overall the property was not super clean (mold in the bathroom, grimy surfaces and cabinets) but the location is great - steps from the beach! Fortunately we spent a lot of our time outside and didn’t reslly mind the negatives with the property, but just be aware. We did try to contact the host to ask about toilet paper and trash bags, didn’t get a response. Ended up purchasing our own toilet paper. We were in town for a concert, overall we would stay here again due to the proximity of the beach, but it could use some improvements.

Host double booked us
After driving all day, We showed up to find the property was occupied. We were given the key code and walked straight into the unit to find it full of other people’s belonging. I’m so glad they weren’t there or it would have been very ackward. I messaged host and was told “sorry, the calendar double booked the dates”. Be weary if booking through VBRO, as this host must list on multiple platforms and doesn't do due diligence to avoid double bookings. Luckily, VBRO put us in a hotel for 2 nights.

Good location, clean just not fancy
We had a good time. The location was perfect! walking to lots of shops and restaurants. Dusty's across the street has a good cheeseburger! This is not a fancy place but it was clean and had a nice view of the beach.
