Great place for a stay.
I had a great stay. I appreciated the room, and the ease of access to the utilities. I was sleeping with the window open usually because I would get a little hot, and they gave me a fan. The check in and check out process was very simple and ran smoothly. It is also very close to Montmarte, Pigalle, and is next to plenty of subway stations.

Convenient & Friendly Staff
The location was very convenient just few meters from the metro station. The staff was friendly and attentive when asked for information or requiring any service. The only inconvenience is that the toilet and shower rooms are shared, something that I didn’t noticed while doing the bookings; however, it was always tidy and claen.

Plaisant and good stay
The hotel is in a good emplacemt,you turn rigth and you will fund you self in a street at the bottom of la Butte Monmartre,full of shop,frensh brasserie were you eat very well and not expansive. The hotel it self is on Boulvard Barbes,who doesnt have good reputation, but this part was good, not a problem at all.Is just 2 tube station from gare du nord. My room was very clean,very good bed, Quiet.shower room was in the corridor.Small and clean. Is a small bulding, then narrowed corridor and narrow stair case. Is a budget hotel then dont expect The Ritz. Over all great stay,good location,very good staff. I do not understand all those complaints ???

Deplorable condition needs closed down
This place is deplorable. The rooms are dirty, the flooring is ripped, mold on bathroom walls and shower. Those pictures have to be 20 years old. The area is less desirable and sketchy to say the least. I would not recommend this property for anyone

We booked really last minute as our plans changed and were happy we found what looked like a decent place to stay. While the staff was really helpful and friendly, the actual hotel space itself was not okay. The room was not fully clean - hairs in the bathroom and on the bed. Even while we had already paid for our 1 night stay at this location, we ended up booking another hotel and leaving shortly after checkin as it didn't live up to what was presented in the pictures and we didn't feel it was clean. Again, the staff was really friendly and provided the only positive part of this experience.

The night concierge made me feel very scared he asked me what my room was without introducing himself as someone who worked there, so I lied about the room number. I woke up to a charge of €50 which was not explained to me. The next day he knocked on my door. I could hear him walking around on my floor. He also didn’t wear a mask, not even when he interacted with me. I feel bad because one of the guys was great I don’t know his name but he was there during the day he was so kind and helpful. The night concierge made me feel really uncomfortable especially as a woman traveling alone. I felt like I had to checkout early, I didn’t feel comfortable staying there alone.

Keep yourself out of that place and area.
I am travelling ones a month at different areas of World since 2007. That was WORST experience of my life. Hotel is at theoretically located at most visited area (Montmartre, Moulin Rouge) but same time is considered most danger and unpleasant zone in Paris. I have seen tourists attacked at Subway and robbed at daylight without any consideration of authorities and coo-travellers. There is many warning about pickpockets but what I experienced was robbery by force. Closest subway is closed at Sunday until 10am. After dark place is crowded with shady individuals and prostitutes. Hotel is dirty and completely outdated. Most rooms are promoted as "shared bathroom" but in fact closest bathroom is at OTHER floor of hotel. There is toilet at every floor!(sic!) Staff very nice and helpful (yey!!!) Now You are considered officially warned.

This hotel is very nice with kind and friendly staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable, towels are changed everyday. Its very close to the meteo station and only 10 minutes walk from monmatre, perfect location
