Tule oleskelemaan hiljattain kunnostetussa 1890-rautatieasemalla bluegrass-sydämessä.

Olemme työskentelemässä täysiverisellä hevostilalla aivan Pariisin haun lähellä, joka on yksi kauneimmista alueista koko Kentuckyn keskustassa. Aja Gainsway- ja Elemendorf-tiloilta matkalla Claiborne-tilaan. 15 minuuttia Kentucky Horse Park, Fasig Tipton, lähellä Keeneland ja Lexington alueen nähtävyyksiä.

Hutchison Station oli osa L&N-rautatiejärjestelmää vuosina 1890-1950, siinä on edelleen alkuperäiset parkettilattiat, 12'-katot ja suuri osa alkuperäisestä muotoilusta. Kuukauden aikana siihen sisältyi posti, karjan lastauslaituri, myymälä ja seppämyymälä. Voit lukea lisää aseman talosta aiheesta 'Ghost Railroads of Kentucky'. We stayed for our trip to Keeneland for opening weekend of horse racing! After a noisy day at the track it is so nice to come to this beautiful renovated train station to spend the night. It is so quiet and peaceful. Waking up and watching the beautiful horses in the field is definitely an added plus. Owners are amazing and I can’t recommend this gorgeous place highly enough. If you have children with you, the donkeys are super friendly and love peppermints!

Loved staying at this unique property with nearby horses and donkeys. The place was immaculate and spacious. Communication with the host was excellent. Location was perfect for tours of private horse farms, Keeneland Race Course and Woodford Reserve Distillery. Will stay here again if back in Lexington.

We loved our stay! The place was clean and comfortable, and peaceful. The only thing we missed was having a cookie sheet, because I like to make bacon in the oven. Steve was really nice to chat with, as I saw him out and about on the property a couple of times. I’d definitely stay again! Being a horse person, I loved the daily views and interactions with the mares and foals!

Beautiful, relaxing home

Kentucky horse country is beyond beautiful and this rental home is in the middle of it. There were 35 foals born this spring and the house looks out on the pasture where they roam during the day with their moms...what could be more amazing? My 11 year fed the horses and the donkeys her weight in baby carrots and apples in the three nights we spent and has already asked when we can visit again.It is a short, beautiful drive into Lexington and the home is comfortable and private.

Just one problem...

This property is absolutely gorgeous. Quiet, clean and comfortably elegant. It was a nice bonus to have laundry detergent, washer and dryer available, too. The only complaint is the toilet paper was GREAT!!!! And that is my pet peeve at most rentals. Cheap toilet paper! So.... gotta find a new pet peeve. Wonderful stay by teen and parents.

ENJOYABLE STAY!!

We could not be more pleased with our stay here. The place was extremely clean and had ample room for 3 adults that we never felt crowded. The surrounding area is stunning with the added bonus of the nearby animals to watch and listen to. The owner communication was an added bonus and we felt the warm welcome with the flowers and cookies. Thank you so much for an enjoyable stay, cant wait to return here again! Great stay overall!!

Keeneland trip

We have stayed in multiple locations over the years for our Keeneland trip and this is by far the BEST place we have stayed! Beautiful, relaxing and the hosts are great! The donkeys are so sweet! We looked out the living room window to see momma horses with their new babies in the field. Breathtaking views!

Keeneland weekend!

We absolutely loved this renovated train station! Beautifully done! It was perfect for the 4 of us. After a noisy day at Keeneland, it is so quiet and the views are breathtaking. The donkeys were so sweet and love green grapes. We had an amazing time! Will definitely be back.

Family weekend in Lexington

We stayed here for a long weekend visiting our daughters who attend college and University of Kentucky and Xavier University (Cincinnati is only a little over an hour away). We rented out both units. This is our third stay at this property and it didn’t disappoint. Both units are clean and the photos are accurate. The property is quiet and peaceful and our family loved seeing the horses and donkeys - many which would walk up to you when they see you. The owner is easy to communicate with. We prepared some meals at the units and the cookware was good. This is our favorite Vrbo in the Lexington area and we will definitely be back.
