Good location, poor condition of apartments
We booked two one-bedroom apartments for 15 days, unfortunately have to say that we were very disappointed. The resort is ok but the apartments we got were very poor.
General areas are clean, there are security officers, pool area is great and location good, close to the beach. Nice restaurants in the road leading to beach. 7Eleven in the Atlantis resort was great. We were aware that there is no cleaning included during the stay, it is no problem to clean the sand from the floor and take garbage out. However, it was uncomfortable that linen or towels were not changed.
The owner does not take care of his property: apartments were unforgivable dirty, piles of dust, spots and splashes, greasy hand stains. Toilet seats broken in both apartments. Also in one of them, the flush handle was broken. The sofas were broken. In one apartment the balcony door lock was unsecure. Apartments smelled bad (mold?) and the other one started to smell like sewer after the shower was used.
There was no safety deposit. Wifi was working fine in one apartment but difficulties in connecting in other apartment. Basically you have to be active and ask everything. We did not get wifi password for pool area and found the gym by accident :)
The sign-in was complicated, ebookers advices to contact provider 48 hours prior arrival. Only phone number was given, no email contact was possible. I tried to call but we did not understand each other due to language difficulties. I ender up calling several times
