Budget Hotel
This hotel is a budget hotel close to the bottom of the pile. Certainly nowhere near the 950 Baht walk-in price, (I got a deal so was happy with the price, just), The furniture was ready to collapse & under the bed had not been cleaned in months, (A baby's bottle underneath for starters). Noisy mezzanine 1st. floor. People banging constantly being locked out. Reception letting people into the hotel in the middle of the night who were not stopping there. The balcony constantly flooded. Small sink with ill-fitting plug complete with small low toilet bowl, Shower above the toilet bowl. (Weird but I got used to it). Front steps disabled unfriendly. Back Fire Escape steps blocked all day with dirty linen. Having said all that I would stop there again because of the area & providing the price was right. The cleaners were polite & respected the "Do Not Disturb" sign. I did not eat there so cannot comment.

Great location for the single traveller. Hotel OK
Overall not bad for the price. Good central location. Housekeeping was not consistent. I was disappointed that the night porter was too busy playing games on his phone to get a towel for me, when housekeeping had missed it. Same porter always seemed to be watching soccer or on guest computers or on his phone. No guest service at all. Even the Night Reception couldn't get him to do his job. Otherwise an OK stay.

Not fit for a Bum
Sawasadee is a local hotel with a lot of age and character, but in its present condition unenjoyable. I was shown 3 rooms before choosing one which was not full of roaches. I later found roaches in my choice also but complained no more since there 2 days only. Roaches are also in the hallways especially at night. Maid followed me room to room complaining in thai to me of my expectations and what did i want or expect. Bed and bedding were very old faded,worn , smelly,permanently stained and etc Furnishings in room are antique and crumbling. Toilet bowl was very old and horrible with stains,odor, and you name it. Sawasadee qualifies as a skid rowe hotel for its filth evident in unreplaced unupgraded common fixtures. It is filthy! I give sawasadee my vote for worst hotel in the city of pattaya but at a premium price since i was charged almost 30 dollars per day.The area is fair but compacted. Breakfast area is shared with roaches. Pattaya city should close this one down as a symbol of pride and support of tourism. I wanted a refund but did not dare argue with the staff.

Very gruby and noisy!
Blood on the sheet, mold in the bathroom and very noisy could not sleep due to loud music from the street. They would not move me and wanted more money. Very seedy place!

The rooms were falsely advertised and misleading.
The mattress was badly out of condition, resulting in lower lumbar pain. The shower water pressure was that of a trickle. I've had better shower conditions when deployed on several combat missions. Furnishings were substandard, and there were no difference between what was advertised as "standard" and "superior" rooms. The hotel staff however, whether at the desk or cleaning, were professional.

Old sheets and towels withconditioning.
Cheap but poorly furnished and very old towels and linen. Small bugs are common in the shower area. Air conditioning not satisfactory. Will not use again. Also please release the charge against my visa card. I paid everything on arrival. Thank you.

I stayed in this hotel a few times before and the service was good for a 2 star hotel.This time I had a few problems with the bathroom door and air-conditioning, which were fixed promptly. Breakfast was good and access to the neighbouring Sabai pool was a plus. Thanks Sawasdee..kap. :-)

Hotel stay
Room is a little small, but enough space for luggage, bed, and other things. Area gets a little noisy after 9:00 pm to early morning. Most of the staff are friendly, but one guy at night doesn't seem to care. Some of the furniture in room are a little old. Wifi didn't work all the time in the room. It was also a little slow at times in the lobby. For a good deal I'd stay here. At normal price, there might be better options.

A tired, faded, rubdown hotel
This hotel does not look like on the pictures, as most often is the case. :( A neglected, worn-out, tired place. The staff is non-committal, a smile is impossible to get, wifi did bot work all three days I have stayed there. Room is sort ok, with some tired furniture, acceptable for the money. Breakfast is minimal, if not too hungry, something to fill you with. Well, U get what U pay for. But not a penny more.

for the price this hotel is actually pretty good, location is walking distance to most things, rooms small but in pattaya most attractions are outside anyway, bed comfortable, staggseem a little overworked, but considering that its a budget hotel is ok, breakfast choices limited, but again for the monet ive had a lot worse.... all in all I would stay there again

Decent hotel, poor service
The hotel and its amenities were fine, and the location is good for the price. I wouldn't stay again or recommend because of the rude staff. They seem to take pleasure in declining requests, and seem to go out of their way to be unhelpful.
