Welcome to our new home in Payson, AZ. It's a very clean and cozy home that seats in a nice almost 3 acre lot. There’s plenty of room to play. It is a perfect place to get away from the summer heat. During the winter it has nice hills to play when there’s snow. Sometimes if you’re lucky deer or elk will visit you right in the property. Minutes away from the shops, restaurants, hiking, fishing and other activities. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and second bedroom has a bunkbed with queen at the bottom and twin sized mattress on top and a roll away bed on the bottom. The cabin has one bathroom with a tub and shower. It has a spacious closet with washer and dryer. We have board games, cornhole and a packman game located in the 2nd bedroom. The kitchen has brand new appliances and has everything you need to make a meal for your family. The kitchen opens up into the living room where you will find a comfortable couch and a smart TV. It has an arcadia door that opens up to the backyard and give lots of natural lights.. The backyard has a serene view of the big trees and hills. This is a go to place to relax and recharge.

Beautiful, nice, quiet, and private place
This is a great little place to stay and was our 2nd stay here. The place is clean, modern, and very nice. Good for 2 adults in the master bedroom, and 2 kids or another adult in the 2nd bedroom, with a shared bathroom. The property is beautiful, secluded, and quiet. The surroundings are also very beautiful.Here are the reasons for only 4 overall stars:1) Internet connection is not very stable. Issues with connectivity persisted with TV, phones, and laptops. If you work remotely and need a good Internet connection you might consider another place until they resolve this.2) WARNING: VRBO will actually charge the 1500 deposit at the time of booking (not a credit card "hold") and will not refund the charge until over 2 weeks after you check out. You will need to pay off this charge on your credit card to avoid interest charges before you even check in. For this reason I will not use VRBO to book this property going forward.

Perfect!
The first thing I will say is that this property is CLEAN. Like spotless. And I'm pretty picky. It's also wonderfully appointed with everything you could possibly need or want --- even dishes and silverware for little kids!!! Both my husband (who likes hard beds) and I (who prefers a soft bed) slept well in the king bed. All the lights dim!!!! Gorgeous views, great night sky. Fire pit! Quiet neighborhood (except for the hum of the highway, which is kind of unavoidable in the area). High ceilings. Games. It'd pretty hard to find anything to complain about, I'd definitely stay there again! My ONLY recommendation would be to note the unit letter on the travel instructions. Don't get scared off by this; it's a single-family home with plenty of privacy... but two separate houses share the same street number, which threw me off.

Home away from home
We felt so relaxed being here. Everything that we needed to feel at home, we had it here. Open the sliding door and let the fresh air in. Our family enjoyed hiking in the back yard to get some wood for our little fire. Completely relaxing.

Our stay at the Bee Hive was very enjoyable. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood nestled amongst pines and beautifully landscaped surroundings. Lots of natural light cascades through the updated kitchen/dining area and quaint living room. King size bed was comfortable, and the spacious bathroom a plus! Nice having a washer and dryer available to do laundry. The inside has everything you need; very clean and comfortable vacation home. A serene and peaceful place to stay. The property owner was quick to respond to our initial emails, and available right away to answer all our questions! 10/10

Birthday getaway
Myself and 4 of my 7 children were able to meet with my granddaughter and her other grandma for granddaughter 13 bday. We haven't been together since Nov 2019, due to Covid and several deaths in the family. We had such an enjoyable time. My granddaughter Elena said she felt rich. lol . We have all have had a rough last 5 years. It was finally good to spend some family time together. We even had a fire and cooked s'mores. Thank you for a wonderful weekend

Great Stay
Very clean, tucked away but still in the middle of it all, cute home. 3 kids (7,9,11) and 2 adults had a wonderful stay at the Beehive. Our kids had a blast exploring the trails around the property.They loved sleeping in the twin over full bunkbed with a trundle. Plenty of space. Oh and the pacman game was a hit. The location was close to all mom and dad wanted to do (Water Wheel Falls, Horton Creek Trail, and Tonto Natural Bridge State Park) were within 30 minutes. We are already looking at when we can stay again.

Nice and quiet
We had a wonderful stay! The house was nice and clean and peaceful. Perfect for our family of 4. The garage was a great add on. We were able to park our truck and side by side in the garage with space to spare. We had several types of wildlife by pass by and it was awesome. Very quiet and relaxing stay. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Perfect, Serene Home Away From Home
Our stay at the Bee Hive was enjoyable and truly exceeded our expectations. The location is in a quiet and private neighborhood. The outside patio and front seating area were great for enjoying the weather and saw plenty of elk, javelinas, coyotes, and birds. The inside has everything you need and more to feel right at home. The owners are genuine people and truly care about providing a great stay. It is clean and very comfortable; all the amenities of a new home. It is just a couple minutes to Payson. The Bee Hive is a happy place and would recommend it to anyone.

What's not to love?
A clean, modern guest house with a private patio surrounded by ponderosa pines. Owners were super responsive to a question during our stay. As a couple in our 70's, our only request is to add a grab bar in the shower for safety. We can't wait to come back; our only fear is that you'll stay booked up with these excellent reviews. Oh well, it is a really nice place!!

Probably the nicest VRBO property I have seen. Spotlessly clean and new with many thoughtful amenities such as a hair dryer plus washer/dryer onsite. Having a garage available was also a bonus, but we chose to park outside and did not take advantage of it. Highly recommended, great communication.

Excellent! My teenage son and I spend a few days a year in Payson while my oldest goes to a nearby camp. We decided to try a house this time instead of a hotel suite and can say wow…we are never going back to a hotel again. The house was fantastic. Would highly recommend. It’s great to see pictures and reviews of a property that actually turn out to be true and better than the pictures when you get there in person! 4 stars!

Cute little homey house with property all around you instead of houses yet close to restaurants and town. Enjoyed seeing the occasional wildlife and the memories of our stay will never be forgotten. We are in our 80’s but it is set up nicely for the little ones also.

Great place to stay and fun hiking town.
House was clean, good ac, and host had fun boardgames. Easy to access. Well lit at night and the beds were cozy. A few downsides were all the tables ( inside and out) only sat four people. We were a group of 5. There is no dishwasher which is not a necessity but having a dishwashing stand would have been handy. We had 3 kids with us. Having some plastic cups and plates available would be a helpful addition to ease a mom's constant worry her kid might drop something. Other additional suggestions would be a bath mat for exiting the shower safely, a non see through clear shower curtain (as there is only one bathroom), a pen and note pad, clock in master bedroom, and ziplock bags. Overall great place!
