I was excited to visit Philadelphia for the first time. Overall, there not much wrong with the hotel, physically, but there were a lot of little things that just made this stay really awful for me. 1) there is no on site parking. The valley parking attendant told me $66/ night, but when I went to get my vehicle, I was charge $90. 2) The complimentary breakfast is appreciated if you like rubbery scrambled eggs and tasteless sausage. 3) the in room coffee service was never correct. On arrival I had decaf only. Notified the front desk and the next day, nothing changed. Notified the front desk again, then I got regular but they didn't leave any cups. 4) the bathroom for locked me out of the bathroom. They fixed it quickly though. 5) my conference was going to end a day early, so I asked if there was any penalty for checking out a day early. I was told no. Then when I went to check out, I was told that I was still going to be charged for the day not used. I'm still waiting on a resolution from Expedia if I'll get reimbursed that final day. Some of these complaints seem petty but when you add them all up, it was not a good visit for my first time in Philly.
