Excellent all around

Fantastic hotel, great value for the price. The room was large, modern and comfortable. Loved having actual coffee in the room and not a keurig like so many hotels have now. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was really nice. My only complaint is that the blinds didn’t block out the light and city light was pouring into the room all night. I’ll bring a sleep mask the next time I stay here- and there will be a next time as it’s a really great hotel!

Granted my stay at the Roost was lovely and a great way to bring in the new year, I have been charged at least 4 times on multiple cards since my NYE stay. Speaking with management was synonymous to speaking to a wall. Every time they refund me for charging me twice, they charge me again. It has been the most cumbersome and unprofessional experience I’ve ever had in dealing with repeated transactions. Although I enjoyed my stay at the time, I will never be residing at the East Market location again. Complete lack of customer service and common sense.

The rooms are clean and spacious. Each room designed differently but living room, kitchen , and bedrooms are spacious than typical hotels. the washing machine/dryers, full kitchen , modern kitchen island , lounge area with 2 fireplaces, movie room, gyms, Yoga room with weights , multifunctional area, office space, printer, scanner are highlights of this Apar-hotel. The front desk staff are friendly , professional, and courteous!

This place is fantastic! Great location. Super friendly staff. The 3rd floor outdoor heated pool, kitchen, fireplace and all of the beautiful plants make this place special. We are definitely going back again.

Great for work! Condo-type very modern apartments with good facilities like gym and lap pool. Lots of lounge areas in and outside. There's a Mom's Organic Market on the same block if you need a healthy break from Reading Terminal Market nearby. We usually stay at Canopy, but Roost is better for our work/play visits.
