This hotel was horrible. We tried to check in and they did not have our room available until 430. The room they assigned us was without a working heater in the middle of winter. We then asked to be switched to a different room which they did the heater was working, but the room was in horrible condition. The desk and chair were severely worn out, the bathroom had rust, the doors had not been painted. I am absolutely shocked that Marriott has put their name on this property. It is very very low budget in the lobby. Both of the two fireplaces were broken And in the neighboring café I stood in line for 20 minutes for a coffee and wasn’t even greeted. It was a horrible experience and I do not recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Philadelphia.

This hotel has definitely seen better days, but the location is great and the staff was very friendly. Our room was spacious, though the bathroom was pretty small and didn't have enough hooks for our towels. The thin walls meant I could hear our neighbors watching TV very early in the morning--I'm not usually sensitive to noise, so this stood out to me. Still, I'd recommend a stay here.

I unfortunately was told that the accessible/roll in shower room was not available when I checked in the evening of 11/30/24 even though I booked it online. The friend traveling with me needed an accessible shower due to his knee surgery and leg brace. Interestingly, when I checked back on Expedia there was an accessible room available AND at a lower nightly rate! This was after I was told the only accessible room in the hotel was already booked by another guest. The condition of the room was surprisingly old and dated. I didn't expect this from a Bonvoy member property. The carpet overall and wall near the in-room radiator were both in need or replacement and fixing and painting respectively. Our other traveling buddy complained about his room (816) down the hall from ours (room 806). I was honestly a bit embarrassed since I had chosen the hotel for us. Twice I requested face tissue be brought to the room; once soon after checking in and again the next morning. This is after discovering that only two tissues remained in the box in the bathroom. I also requested that lotion be brought up but to no avail. Kierra at the front desk on 12/1 assured me she called housekeeping but no one came to the room. This added to our disappointment. A partial credit for the amount paid would be most appreciated for this underwhelming experience at the Warwick. Or possibly a free night, a re-do, to use on my next trip to Philly, which I plan to visit more frequently from DC. Thank you.

The staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and a comfortable bed. Some items were a little worn like the desk and chair and the shower tub but still just fine. Hotel is very convenient to restaurants and excellent shopping. Would stay here again.

My fiancé and I stayed at the Warwick Rittenhouse in Philly for our anniversary weekend. First inconvenience: Check-in was delayed, so instead of us checking in at 4pm, we had to wait to be checked in by 4:30. We then had to quickly change for dinner reservation at 5pm. Our second inconvenience was the room itself, for which I spend over $200/night: Not enough towels and no bathroom mat for us. The complimentary shampoo/conditioner bottles had nothing in them -either they were empty or the contents were in solid form and could not be forced out with any amount of pressure. Only one bar of soap, not a separate one for the shower. The shower drain was clogged, so while taking a shower, we were simultaneously running a bath, since the water could not easily drain out. The sofa in our room was old and worn, and we could feel the spring when sitting on it. Very uncomfortable and difficult to lift yourself out. The third inconvenience was the elevators not running on checkout day. When we left the room to check out with our luggage, we had to wait about 10 minutes for an elevator (there are FOUR elevators, out of which ONLY ONE was operating at 11am). When the one operating elevator finally arrived, it was too crowded for us to board. We were on the 9th floor, and rather than wait for that one elevator to come back to us, we decided to drag our luggage down NINE FLIGHTS of stairs to the lobby. We arrived early & although room wasn't ready yet we were able to check our bags & were told we would be called whenever the room was available. We never received a call & when we went back around 4pm, they had trouble locating our reservation, even though it was there a couple of hours earlier. Elevators are a bit older & the hallway (on the 5th floor) was like the Arctic!! It was so cold. Room thankfully was fine. Carpets could use a good steam cleaning or replacement. Walls are paper thin though- we could hear our neighbors "afternoon delight" and street noise. Overall, the hotel has a beautiful design, some nicer on-site restaurants, friendly staff & in a great area. Parking was an additional $49 per night but attached to the hotel which was convenient.

I was extremely disappointed by the condition of the hotel. It’s run down and clearly needs a facelift. It felt dirty and we got a dark room with the AC condenser unit making noise all night outside our windows. Asked staff 3 times for a rollaway bed before we finally got one at 11 pm!
