The room was very spacious - had a kitchen, living area, and then the bed tucked off which was really nice and perfect for a couple-day stay! I felt very comfortable there. Staff was very friendly - both at the desk and at the bar. Would definitely stay again!

The heater in my room was broken, so I spent the night shivering in the cold. The room temperature was 56°F, and the air conditioner was on. When I switched it to heat, it only went up to 66°F after three hours. I told the receptionist about it, and they said they would fix it later. So, I decided to check out immediately.

The staff was not friendly, the housekeeping staff kept asking if we were checking out, and stood by our room waiting for us to leave. The shower wouldn’t drain and we had to unclog it. The comforter was so old that the feathers were falling out all over the bed and floor. It was definitely not a great stay

It's located not far from some beautiful buildings with architectural detail and design. We like to walk, so walking through some lovely neighborhoods to get to the Cathedral of Learning was very pleasant. We were surprised at the number of buildings of worship along the way. Most date back to the early 20th century, and we were fortunate to be able to walk into St. Paul Cathedral shortly before a Mass was to begin. For Christmas is was tasteful as well as ornate. Just beautiful. If you look around you will be pleasantly surprised.
