The staff was amazing, they made our stay very enjoyable. My mom is a vegetarian, they accommodated our food preferences and she had a fun time. The food was made with fresh ingredients and we had no problems hygiene wise. The trees and plantation in the resort was stunning with all the fresh air. All the staff was super friendly and respectful. They made sure we were taken care off in all ways at all times

This is a meticulously maintained property with beautiful landscaping and breathtaking sea views. The staff is very efficient and very courteous in all services and requests. You can tell it is a very well managed. The food is good not great. Certain restaurants are better than others with Casa Amate standing out above the rest. This is wonderful resort that also seems to cater to families as well. We enjoyed our stay at Andaz Mayakoba very much and would return again next year.

We loved our stay at the Andaz! The grounds of the property were beautiful. It was a very large, lush property and we loved riding bikes to the beach and on the nature trail. Dining was excellent - from our daily breakfast buffet at the Cocina Milagro to the fine dining at Casa Amate. Highly recommend checking out Casa Amate and taking the river boat back to your room if you can! The beach was nice and clean and the wood-fired dishes at the beach restaurant Sotavento were fantastic. The atmosphere was tranquil and relaxing to a fault - we would have liked to have the option of live music or entertainment available on the property. Also would have enjoyed a more a bar-type hangout to meet other guests and socialize. It was pretty much just restaurants and beach chilling. Shout out to Cristobal at the Vegan bar who made us some great cocktails!

A dream vacation. Beautiful rooms, we faced a lagoon and had amazing bird life around. 4 restaurants with excellent high quality dining options. I loved the guacamole and ceviche. Could live on it. The desert table at Casa Amate was very special. Showstopper was the handmade/hand painted chocolate bar, which we will hanker for in years to come. Lots of quaint white basket bikes to cycle to the beach or the along the lovely nature walk cycling paths. Property felt new and in pristine condition. The staff were incredibly warm and genuinely kind. Are Mexicans this friendly or has Andaz managed some voodoo top class hospitality training? The beach was the perfect Caribbean dream, white sand, clear clean water. Swam almost everyday. One suggestion, Andaz should consider using floor cleaning machines to thoroughly clean esp. bathroom floors. Everything looks pretty clean but when I wiped the bathroom floor a few times with a tissue, it came up dirty. Maybe my OCD, but bathroom floors need to be spotless at hotels. The All-Inclusive option was well worth it. I’ve been trying to get off carbs but this was not the week for it. Don’t miss out on the brownie cookie, preserved orange segments and dark chocolate disks with crushed nut topping, all found at the little Express coffee shop tucked away in the Sanctuary. It’s all those special little details you’ll love.
