Definitely this hotel does not meet criteria for 4.5 star resort . Needs upgrading , beach small and very crowded giving the fact the size of this resort. Average food , not impressed with sit down restaurants . I would not recommend to getting yourself involved with any time share presentation Not worth it of your previous time They bring you to VIP area Which appears to be empty and pitifully looking No selling point

It’s not bad, but definitely not great. Food is so-so, service is pretty bad, the property is good but very outdated. The beach is damaged by hurricanes are high water levels, so no much beach left. Lots of rocks… Shows are very basic. Still OK overall, but will not be back.

This place is beautiful and geared for families. I traveled solo and always felt safe there. I did not enjoy the food at all. The staff was very kind there. I got extremely sick there and the hospital doctor was very kind. They helped me and got me to a private hospital as I was that sick. The monkeys were always putting on a show and I never had trouble finding a chair. The property is beautiful but I will not come back unless I have kids.

Grounds were nice but a lot improvements needed. Huge property and too busy in high season. I would AVOID it until some serious improvements are done. Beach is too small for such size. Water is always cold especially for kids. Be prepared to sit on grass! You got to pay extra for kids club! No stable WIFI and you are asked to purchase. I used my Data. We all got food poisoning.I don't think we were the only ones. First time in Mexico not impressed at all. Wrong resort, wrong time wrong airline "Flair". 1 full day to go and 1 full day to get back. Incredible!

The hotel structure is beautiful but outdated and lack care for details. Pools are relatively old as sunbeds and other amenities. There is plenty of services and alcohol for heavy drinker but that's not what you look as a family. The two biggest critics are for the room and for the food. The room is old. AC is super noisy. There is no ventilation. Plenty of humidity. It is practically impossible to dry a bath-suit unless the balcony is exposed to the sun (mine was not). There are very few sockets. TV is from the early 2000s. Wifi is extremely poor. Talking about the food: the quality of the raw material is poor and the cooking approximative. With few exceptions, like the breakfast egg station, ceviche's and shrimp, all the rest is very very low level. Even the fruits is not good that is quite unbelievable being in Mexico. The "A la Carte" restaurant are a disaster. I had a red curry that came without curry at the Thai restaurant and an horrendous steak had the steakhouse. In conclusions: overall below expectations. The potential is there but when you try to do too much without real care and quality, the result is mediocre at 360 degrees

We loved our stay. The grounds were amazing and the staff at the princess grand was amazing and even upgraded us to the adult side which was so sweet. The concierge at the Yucatan was not the best. We got a massage and were opting for separate massages as they were a lower price which was a great deal but they kept pushing the couple massage and assured us the price sheet was for both people. We get to checkout and it ended up being 300 usd. Other than the concierge at the Yucatan all the staff was sooo great and we would indeed go back. All the wildlife was so cool to see.

Worst vacation resort by miles
For starters, it's shocking how there little mention anywhere that this is a petting zoo. If you want to vacation with gazes of racoons, deers, monkeys, street cats and all sorts, this is the place for you. The food is terrible and service is poor. While the property is generally clean, it's completely outdated and between the constant mildew and septic smells in the rooms and around the resort, good luck making it out without a breathing problem. Of course, you can choose to stay outside for better air quality if you can find room around the pool and beach and aren't accosted by raccoons looking through your stuff for food. The resort is massive (3 resorts and 2 lobbies) and the shuttles barely run or the drivers are occupied with other errands so may not pick you up. But we got lots of exercise walking up and down the whole place taking guesses about what animal we'd run into next. Of course through all that walking you'd want to look forward to a good night's rest. If you can get past the smells, or the cool of the room with no comforters or blankets, the water pipes whistling endlessly to the point where you get concerned there's about to be an explosion of water through the walls will for sure ruin it for you. Absolutely terrible stay. Don't waste your money. You can find way better for this price or just go to Cuba for way less.
