To start the only good thing about this property was the ROOM! The food is very bland and below average. We had to pay an additional $650 once we got there to add a person to a room already booked. They don’t give you a map of the resort which is hugeeeee and inconvenient. It’s definitely a resort for more of the older crowds a families with toddlers/kids. The drinks are all watered down. Restaurants are hard to book because they’re usually full before you get a chance to book. Staff isn’t as helpful and literally don’t care unless you’re a premium guest. Overall id honestly rate the stay a 0/5 if I could. Definitely overhyped!

Food was cold and not Latino Authentic. Platanos Fritos awful bad flavor. Old food was served at the buffet. Fruit no flavor. No mangos cut come on this is Mexico. Water in pool cold we could not swim. So ridiculous price for getting so little. We will never return and don’t recommend it.

Loved this property. It was my hubby and I’s first trip just the two of us and we were a bit nervous about somethings but staff and everything was amazing. Buffet food the first two days was good but then after that kinda went down hill a bit. Drinks were not watered down at all. We really enjoyed our stay. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

I liked the animals and sculptures of the property. Hated the dishonest manager (Hugo) from the Vaqueria restaurant that didn't mention upfront price for bottle of wine. It seemed like we were tricked in to buying a 50$ wine bottle. My main reson to NEVER go back to your hotel. The other reason is that is that the rooms are super dated. Not even a smart tv. Just old and crooks at the Vaqueria restaurant. So we will NEVER be booking at this resort and will not recommend and warn our friends and family about this resort.

Cannot recommend. We had to request different rooms as both rooms smelled really bad and moldy. Food wasn’t even mediocre. It seemed intentionally taste bad. Staff seems polite but is providing intentionally misleading information. Nothing going on entertainment wise. Nothing for kids or teens. We were bored. We did not enjoy our stay and won’t go back.

The buffer food was okay. The Paradise buffet was the best one. All the specialty restaurants are great. I expected to be able to hang out at the people, listen to some music and relax. There was no music playing at all. The pool was really cold the beach water was way better. The swim up bar was even open cause a handful of people were in the people, literally 4 people. So you had to get out of pool to go to same bar on opposite side to order a drink.The resort needs to implement small changes to make it more lively.

Our family loves the princess hotel. From the rooms to landscaping to beaches and swimming pools to buffets and a la carte restaurants it’s all amazing. The stuff is wonderful , always smiling and always ready to assist. My only complaint about the resort is the size and age of TV’s in the room.

Staff are very nice and friendly but the room service is not great. Sometimes we had four towels and sometimes only two. Extra blanket would disappear from time to time. We called for the bell service to help with the suitcases and they never showed up.

My first time out of the country for my birthday and everything that could have gone wrong did. I was physically assulted by a white male guest, his wife and kids. I got drinks thrown at me, bags, trash, my belongings thrown on the ground and this guest tried lifting me out of the chair multiple times. Terrfied was an understatement. My sister and I were called racials slurs and he kept referring to us as pigs. We have this recorded. Security was asked to intervene but they took 45 minutes to get to the beach. I made a statement. Asked to speak to the manager and NO ONE contacted us. The next day was my 30th, we were walking to take the shuttle into town and saw the man and his wife. This man proceeds to lunge towards us honking like a pig. We reported that as well. I asked again for a manager and still nothing. Our entire trip was spent in fear. The resort did absolutely nothing to try to make us feel safe and comfortable. I work in hospitality and I wouldn't let a guest feel the way we did This was unacceptable from start to finish. Leonardo and Mario were the only genuine staff members there (Platinum receptionists).

Property was great. Clean and staff was amazing. Entertainment staff did an amazing job and Elkie was great. Very friendly guy.

We enjoyed the food at the specialty restaurants as well as the buffets. The staff was friendly and provided great service. The entertainment was top notch and we enjoyed that there was something for everyone including the kids and families. The room was spacious, clean and the king bed very comfortable. It was easy to walk to the beach or to any of the many pools in the resort. We also enjoyed the Pickleball courts and the wildlife. The green areas are well maintained. We have been in this resort four times and will be back next year. Great value for the money.

This is a great vacation property for families. Easy to walk around and plenty of options for dining and activities. The room did have a bit of a moldy smell, but that could be a personal opinion. Excellent option for budget-minded travelers and those looking for an all-inclusive experience. The arranged transportation to Playa del Carmen was a great bonus!

The grounds are beautiful a little dated and worn but beautiful. The employees are, as a whole, unimpressed by their customers. There are a few gems but as a whole they are cold, slow, unbothered, and often rude even after they’ve been given amazing tips. The dining is sub par. We loved Chill Out and the steak house but the rest is mediocre at best. We selected a Villa which we loved. Quiet, cool, comfortable, and exactly what we wanted. Overall we would go back but at the prices we paid we truly expected much much more from the staff and the dining.

It was a great experience for our first trip to Mexico, if I could change 1 thing, I would say the food, although real good could have been a little more authentic Mexican type food, it was pretty westernized food, with some Mex dishes, all in all good enough we would certainly go back.
