Overlooking the beautiful Cuckmere River and the South Downs, within a private apple orchard sits Robins Retreat. A handmade Shepherds Hut within the South Downs National Park - Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

We are located within a stones throw of the historic and beautiful village of Alfriston.

Experience local wildlife outside your window, inhale the fresh country air and be amazed at the surrounding countryside, which has so much to offer.

Welcome to Robins Retreat, we hope you enjoy your stay within our orchard. This is the perfect place to relax and explore. Sleeps 2 adults so perfect for a romantic getaway - why not bring your dog too!

With self-catering facilities, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay. The kitchen has a fridge with freezer, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave/convection oven, a toaster and kettle.

Outside you can enjoy the firepit area and wood fired hot tub (please see extra's) whilst gazing up at the stars.

Wi-Fi is limited and cannot be guaranteed

The hut has a king-size bed that can be stowed away to provide additional room including a seating area.

There is a bathroom, which has a toilet and a full walk-in shower.

Linen, towels and a hair dryer are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.

We do have some extra’s on site (subject to availability), which will be provided in your welcome details, this includes a wood fired hot tub option for the duration of your stay at £50 per night (minimum of 2 nights). For example 3 night stay £150, 4 nights £200. The hot tub comes with a paddle rather than bubbles to make your stay more serene

This Shepherds Hut is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Explore the sights and local attractions of Alfriston and the surrounding area - there is so much to see and do nearby.

• Eastbourne Pier (10 mins) - Enjoy a quintessential seaside experience with entertainment, dining, and classic arcade games on this Victorian pier.
• South Downs National Park (20 mins) - A nature lover’s paradise offering rolling hills, diverse wildlife, and extensive trails across one of England’s finest landscapes.
• Eastbourne’s Sovereign Harbour (15 mins) - Stroll through this vibrant marina with a range of restaurants, cafes, and shops, perfect for a relaxed afternoon or evening by the water.

House Rules
- Check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am.
- Smoking/Vaping is not allowed in the property, if smoking outside please dispose of used cigarettes respectfully
- There are on-site parking facilities available at the property (one space per hut/cabin)

FAQ
Can we bring our pets to the property?
We love animals and the cabin is perfect place for well behaved dogs to come along and enjoy the holiday with you, however if you have any concerns please contact ahead of booking. We suggest a maximum of two small/1 medium dog is suitable for the hut.

Is there space for us to park our car?
We have parking facilities for one vehicle per cabin!

Can we use the property for our party?
Unfortunately not, the property is located in a quiet residential area, we also live on site therefore may not be suitable for larger group
