VILLA GUACAMAYO - VACATION PARADISE

Villa Guacamayo is a charming Mallorcan Villa located between Pollensa town and Puerto Pollensa beach. It has been made great use of both local stone and decoration. The cottage style villa, which is all on one level is bright and provides good holiday accommodation and is decorated in light colors. It also enjoys unlimited free WIFI for use.

Since April of 2022, Villa Guacamayo will have two bicycles available free of charge for customer use.

The entry to the villa is directly into the lounge and dining area, from where you can enjoy the beautiful views towards the pool and lawn area. There is a fully fitted kitchenette with all the modern facilities and equipment that you may require on your holiday.

Down the corridor there is an airy double bedroom and an equally bright twin bedroom, both have windows facing the garden. There is a bathroom at the beginning of the corridor.
The Villa has a detached studio with a double bedroom, cute terrace facing the grass area and a private shower and toilet.

All the bedrooms and studio of Villa Guacamayo include hot / cold air conditioning. To enhance your comfort, they are available to be used at any time during the day and night. In winter time there is a pellet stove in the lounge.

From the lounge, doors open onto the veranda facing the garden. Here there is an outdoor dining area with easy access to the pool, BBQ, lawn and sunbathing space, perfect for dining al fresco. There is also a third bathroom with outdoor shower.
Enjoy wonderful sunsets behind the mountains from the chill out area in the roof top terrace of Villa Guacamayo!

Villa Guacamayo is situated on a large plot partially screened by hedges , plants and shrubs with lawn areas and pretty flowerbeds with fencing around the perimeter.

Villa Guacamayo is well situated just 5 min drive both to Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa where in the evening can participate of the variety of activities in town or visit the restaurants and bars that the town has to offer.

Old Pollença boasts several good restaurants and small cafés. The town is steeped in History and this is evident everywhere you look. The Sunday market is especially colorful with local fruit and vegetables and nuts and spices.

Puerto Pollensa is an attractive resort that offers everything you can need both inland and off shore. The bay of Puerto Pollensa boasts a wide choice of water sports to choose from. During the daytime you can relax on the beach or for the more active you can hire a windsurfer, kayak, sailboat or go normal water-skiing or jet-biking.

In the evening there is a wide choice of restaurants - from local tapas to expensive fine dining restaurants.

In Cala Sant Vicenç (or just Cala as it is known to locals) there is a mini market, several small restaurants offering a variety of dining experiences and even a couple of bars. There are four little coves and two main beach areas. Cala Sant Vicenc has spectacular views and crystalline water.

A car is needed for additional flexibility as Villa Guacamayo is well-situated for exploring other beautiful and picturesque areas near it.

The house is in general a good choice. The only thing you need to know, is that the mattresses are the harder ones, if you like to sleep on that kind. The only other thing, which is normal, you will have ants in the kitchen, when you leave your food out. If you keep the kitchen counter clean, then you will not have a problem. We enjoyed our stay at the house, which gives you a lot of privacy.

Lovely house in great location
We loved the house,garden especially and pool, very convenient for visiting Pollença.I think we could have had properly installed mosquito nets as these were needed and and would have been nice to have more basics provided like toilet paper, soap and dishwasher tablets ,overall the property was as expected and we really enjoyed our stay!

The two separate living apartments were great for our family. We were disappointed that the Villa is not within walking distance of any bars & restaurants. The pool is small but good to cool off. The air conditioning wasn't great in the main villa as it didn't stay at the set temperature or come on automatically. The main villa has all the facilities you need but the smaller apartment would benefit having a fridge & kettle. Having a Table Tennis table entertained the family and having some English TV channels & Wi Fi was a bonus.

Quiet location, still very convenient to go to Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa, just minutes drive. Peaceful house and outdoor space with garden and trees. Clean inside and nice staff, would recommend for a relaxing holidays.

Beautiful setting, excellent service
The property is set in a lovely garden, the pool is small so no adult swimming but great for the kids (5,7,9) The 3rd bedroom is in a separate annex which took me a while to feel comfortable not being in the same house as the kids, but it was overlooking their bedrooms and gave us a lovely peaceful room for daytime naps. Great area, so much to do and see and just beautiful. Pep and Maria were excellent - nothing was a bother and they went out their way to help. Excellent service. We had a lovely stay

Good location to enjoy the north of island. Rustic and simply decorated. Pool smaller than photos illustrate but ok for cooling off. Enjoyed picking and eating fresh figs and grapes everyday!

Villa is acceptable although not plush. The staff at Owl booking were great, very helpful and pleasent to deal with Small problem with very sensitive electrical supply that caused the power to fail but this was resolved quickly. It happened a second time but I had been shown how to reset it just in case The pool was smaller than I expected but it was adequate to cool off in Plenty of equipment in the kitchen all of which worked fine You will need a car to get around and be warned the roads are very narrow so take care, I would definitely not want to walk down them especially in the dark so if you go out drinking, be prepared to nominate a driver or get a cab. Old Pollensa town is very close and a nice place to visit, The Port is fairly close by but is very touristy The food was pretty poor and we tried a lot of places, eventually we found a decent Italian in the back streets of the Port which was good. I had one meal from a large restaurant in the square of the Old town that made me sick for a day, supposed to be suckling pig and it was stone cold, I did not know if it was supposed to be that way. I told the waiter who immediately apologised and changed it for a hot dish but by that time others had finished their meal so it spoiled the night, I then got ill overnight Quite a lot of mosquitoes and a few large beetles but the garden is coming along very nicely, I think by the end of summer it will be very nice For a short break for a couple or small family not bad

Tolles Haus mit viel Platz, mehreren Terrassen rundherum.
Bei der Ankunft mussten einige Dinge in der Küche vor Benutzung gespült werden, weil sie nicht sauber waren (Gläser, Besteck usw.). Ansonsten war das Objekt in gutem Zustand. Die Ausstattung in der Küche könnte allerdings etwas besser sein, wenn das Objekt komplett belegt ist, gibt müsste man nach jeder Mahlzeit spülen, weil z.B. nicht genug Besteck da ist. G Ein großes Manko ist, dass in 2 von 3 Schlafzimmern keine Kleiderschränke vorhanden sind, sondern nur eine Kleiderstange und winzige Regale. Man ist quasi gezwungen, aus dem Koffer zu leben. Das sollte dringend geändert werden! Die Kommunikation mit OWL - Booking war sehr gut, es wurde schnellstens auf Kritik bzw. Schäden (defekter Toster) reagiert und diese Dinge ausgetauscht. Da wir im Winter dort waren, haben wir explizit nach einer „richtigen“ Heizung gefragt, denn wir kennen die Verhältnisse auf Mallorca im Winter. Es gab nur im Wohnzimmer/ Esszimmer/ Küche (ein großer Raum) einen Pelletofen. Dieser wärmte zwar, war aber sehr unzuverlässig und ging immer wieder aus. In den übrigen Zimmern gab es Klimaanlagen, mit denen man heizen kann. Mit der Folge, dass diese insbesondere Nachts Geräusche verursacht. Nicht gerade optimal, aber besser geht es wohl auf Mallorca selten. Wenn einige Mängel abgestellt werden, würden wir definitiv trotzdem dieses Objekt wieder buchen. Die Lage ist recht ruhig, nah an der Tramuntana zum Wandern, und Supermärkte wie Lidl und Erosky sind auch recht nah.

Bon séjour a pollenca
La semaine passée en pleine canicule, nous avons apprécié le confort de la maison et son parc ombragée, la petite piscine, et la climatisation qui manquait malgré tout d un entretien, (je ne sais pas si les normes d entretien sont les memes quand FRANCE !) L emplacement est superbe entre mer et montagne et proche des belles villes . L agence a tres bien repondu a mes questions. La maison est conforme aux photos du site . Merci nous avons passé un bon sejour a majorque en famille !

Ein sehr schöner und erholsamer Urlaub
Die Finca ist sehr schön, richtig toll zum abschalten. Die Außenanlagen ist sehr schön gemacht. Mit vielen Obstbäumen, von Feigen, Aprikosen und Birnen. Ein Auto ist schon nötig, von dort aus kann man Pollenca in wenigen Minuten erreichen. Die Strände sind auch sehr leicht zu erreichen. Wir haben nur ein paar Kleinigkeiten zu bemängeln, in der Küche fehlen ein paar Kleinigkeiten. Wenn man mit mehreren Personen anreist dann kann es schon knapp werden mit z.B. größeren Schüsseln für Salate. Ein paar Reparaturen müssten gemacht werden. Im hinteren Häuschen ist die Tür defekt, lässt sich nicht richtig schließen. Beim duschen setzt man das ganze Badezimmer unter Wasser, Ablagemöglichkeiten fehlen.Mückenschutz an den Fenstern hat gefehlt, wenn man nicht unbedingt mit der Klimaanlage schlafen möchte. Neue Handtücher gab es erst nach Nachfrage. Das sind allerdings Kleinigkeiten und der Kontakt ist sehr nett. Alle Informationen hat man gleich zum Anfang erhalten, mit vielen Tipps. Wir würden die Finca definitiv weiterempfehlen.

Das Haus hat all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Toller sauberer Pool, Betten und Bad absolut okay. Großes Grundstück mit Pool und schöner Liegewiese. Grillstelle vorhanden. Waschmaschine. Spülmaschine und Herd vor Ort. Problemloses Ein- und Auschecken. Alles in allem ein gelungener Urlaub. Gerne bald wieder
