It was okay. Beds were great. Front desk great. Room didn't seem very clean. Dust on counters, fridge etc. Needs better maintenance. Sink stopped wouldn't open, shims sticking out of vanity feet.... Hope it is a temporary situation.

Great staff, hotel is old and in need of repair.
The staff was great but the room was I. Rough condition. The paint is peeling off the wall. The door frames are rusted. The bathroom door had a hole in it. The linens and towels were stained. There was hair in the shower and sink.

Very nice place, clean, comfortable, quiet. Definitely recommend staying here, breakfast was good and had lots of snack/drink options to purchase. Staff were all very nice and polite.

The property is pretty good in general. However, for the price I'm paying which is over $110 on a Tuesday night, amenities seems lacking. Small breakfast choices, no weights in the gym, etc. With that being said, the hotel staff is ultra friendly and helpful, willing to go the extra miles for your need. Hotel is pretty clean in general. I'm pretty satisfied with my stay. Hopefully the price can come down a little or give us more amenities.

Poor experience
Toilet overflowed while we were sleeping, woke up at 6am to water on the floor. The manager moved us to another room, with a short apology. I believe that we should have been comped for the stress that it caused as well as having to walk on toilet water to get in and out of room. Overall, a poor experience

Was there just after hurricane Milton and while it was still busy, it was all stocked and accommodating. Great value for the price considering every hotel in town was booked full through the next week.

I have to lead with if you have asthma, lung issues, fume reactions or MCAS then I currently would not stay here. The deodorizer/cleaning solution wasn’t properly diluted and caused me to heavily medicate myself. The smell was so over powering that it made my eyes water, lungs burn and was just irritating. However, when the GM was contacted he came on property to immediately start rectifying the situation. We stayed 2 nights. By check out it was considerably better but still needs plenty of fresh air to bring those fumes of chemical abuse back to normal healthy air quality. For those who don’t have breathing issues I recommend this hotel. There was a problem with our first room but the attendant immediately got us another room. The property is clean and staff friendly. The GM took immediate action to a big problem. Our room was spacious and had no carpet which I loved. They have coffee and other items in the lobby. Our room had a microwave and small frig. Quiet/safe location. We will consider staying again at a much later date.

This was an above average hotel. Years ago on a multi country European vacation I stayed at a Microtel Inn. This hotel was equally as nice.

Great Hotel
The Microtel Inn & Suites Brooksville, FL is a great place to stay. Good free breakfast and coffee 24/7. Very clean room and awesome, friendly staff. I had left some items behind and the cleaning staff secured the items. I was able to come back the next day and pick-up my items. Such a great experience dealing with awesome people. Thanks Microtel!!! A perfect experience.

Lacochee Bike Ride stay
The AC in my room would not shut off. The room was super cold. I made the front desk aware but nothing could be done because they didn't have any extra rooms available and their maintenance man was not available until Monday. I had no choice but to tough it out. Luckily , the hotel did the right thing and did not charge me for my stay.
