You get the best of both worlds with the calming waters of St. Joseph Bay across the street & the pristine Gulf waters just steps away! Explore the Forgotten Coast, scalloping, fishing, kayaking, bicycling & relaxing in paradise! The Tranquil Turtle is a allergy friendly home so we do not allow pets. Calm Seas
House setup was perfect for our multi-generational trip with the ground floor bedroom/bath. Very well stocked with all cooking pots/pans we needed. Light repair in process on the hot tub meant we choice not to utilize that, but the pool was great for the littles. Would stay again.

Great stay at Tranquil Turtle
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tranquil Turtle. The home was very comfortable and we appreciated that linens and beach towels were provided. We enjoyed good fishing on the beach in front of the house, the pool and hot tub and even enjoyed a campfire on the beach at night. Just beautiful! The owner was so kind and always quick to respond if we had any questions.

Annual family trip
The tranquil turtle home is beautiful! It was perfect for our family of 11. Because we had red flags / double red flags for part of our stay having the in ground pool and hot tub was a plus. The house was clean and very well stocked. Questions about the surrounding area(grocery shopping) and type of coffee filters needed were promptly answered.

Loved The Tranquil Turtle!
The Tranquil Turtle met all our expectations! Beautiful spacious house on the beach with gorgeous sunset views. Our family of 11 enjoyed the private heated pool, hot tub, outdoor pool table, shuffleboard, & foosball. The host provided beach toys, pool inflatables, beach chairs, umbrellas, and tons of beach towels that we didn't have to pack. The host responded to my questions quickly. We sincerely enjoyed staying at the Tranquil Turtle! and definitely recommend it for family vacations.

Family vacation
This property is everything it presents in pictures. The location to the beach is perfect and the outdoor activities at the house (pool, hot tub, games) were a hit with our family. The living room, kitchen and both decks offered gathering spaces that worked well for our group. The kitchen was well stocked and the separate ice maker was a hit! Love this property and would go here again.

Amazing Vacation
We were a family of 9 and there was something to make our vacation special for everyone. The beautiful sunsets off our balcony, the view of the Gulf at our door.The pool and hot tub were fabulous. The incredibly well stocked kitchen. The beautiful decor. This was a vacation we will fondly remember. The host was wonderful and responded to my questions quickly.

Great Location Steps from the Beach
We just spent a week at this wonderful house with our family and truly enjoyed it. It was our first time at Cape San Blas and everyone loved it. It was like having your own private beach. The kids enjoyed both the ocean and the wonderful pool. The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need: 2 coffee makers that could operate either as a single cup or a full pot, air fryer, huge boil pot, plenty of pots and pans and utensils. We did one big shopping trip at the Piggly Wiggly in Port St. Joe but everything else we picked up at The Trading Post which was just minutes away. The kids also made several trips to get treats at the Cape Coffee and Ice Cream shop. We bought some fish and shrimp at St. Joe Shrimp Company which was in that same area on the Cape and had a shrimp boil/fish fry - delicious! We did eat dinner one night out at Cone Heads and everyone enjoyed it. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the amazing sunsets every night right out the back door. They were absolutely amazing. All in all it was a fantastic trip that everyone enjoyed. Also, want to mention that Sophie and Mollie were great when we had any questions.

Perfect Beach Vacation
The Tranquil Turtle was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 6 grandchildren. The house was well- stocked and we loved having the pool and closeness of the beach. The sunsets were amazing, no crowds, plenty of seashells and we counted 8 sea turtle nests!! Mollie was always quick to answer our questions! Thank you for a perfect vacation!!

First time at CSB
This was our first visit to Cape San Blas and it did not disappoint! This house is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need on a beach vacation. The pool was cleaned every other day, pool and beach toys were plentiful and the kitchen, wow! It had multiple crockpots and blenders plus an air fryer! We enjoyed playing the board games and UNO in the evenings. Our only complaint was the step down to the beach, which we could only blame Mother Nature for the erosion. I brought it to Sophi’s attention and she was very attentive and appreciative. We will be back!

Our favorite vacation home do far!!
We have have been renting houses for our family of 15 for 15 years and this is our most favorite yet! Sophi’s house is fabulous, clean and taken care of, and has all the amenities you could ask for! The private boardwalk and closeness to the beach itself was perfect for us! The beach had some erosion from storms the week before, but it was plenty for us, and we didn’t have to fight for beach space like other areas. The house is closer to the mainland which is great yet beautiful sand and water! This week was perfect weather, no seaweed, no stingrays, no jelly fish! Close to the pontoon rental at the park so we did two boats to the top of the peninsula and it was perfect!! Sophi was quick to respond to my many requests and accommodating!!

Great for a reset
I wish we had more time to stay! We booked this only a few weeks in advance and it was perfect for our needs. We had 10 kids, but half of them were 18 - and they were ALL entertained! Heated pool and hot tub were a must for a mid FEB visit. Typical FL visit with one morning that was rainy, but cleared by afternoon. Kids stayed busy with puzzles and movies. The house layout is perfect for everyone to stretch out and hop from one activity to the next. The 2 separate kitchen areas weee great so that we weren’t stepping on top of each other. Plenty of beach towels, chairs, linens and pillows. We brought all the household things, but didn’t need to use anything except laundry detergent. Kitchen had everything- plenty of pots and pans and dishes. We were glad that we brought our groceries with us- didn’t need to run to the store for anything, but if we did it was only a 20 min drive to the Piggly Wiggly. Sophi was quick with communication, easy peasy check in and out. Beach is steps away with tons of shells. Cannot say enough good things! Thank you so much for such a great experience! 5 stars, would definitely stay again.

Exceptional
I highly recommend the Tranquil Turtle. I have stayed at many rentals, that were all good, but this place is like home. Plenty of space for everyone with large open concept living area and 5 bedrooms, all with private bathrooms. The entire home was well stocked and equipped with everything we needed for the week with 13 guests. My favorite spot was the bed swing on second floor deck. We would definitely like to stay here again.

First Time in Cape San Blas
This house was beautiful and well equipped inside and out. We had an amazing time. Even with rainy days, there was plenty to do at the house like playing foosball and shuffleboard. Sophie and Molly kept in touch and went out of their way to accommodate our stay. Our family has already talked about staying here again. Thank you for helping us make beautiful memories.

Everybody wants to come back again
First time our family had really spent any time together since you know what, and eveything was perfect for a family of 8 adults and 3 small grand children.. The accommodations were comfortable and every floor has a great view of the ocean. The best part for us was that they provided beach chairs, a cooler, boogie boards and simple beach toys. The beaches were awesome, as well as pool and hot tub This was our kids’ first time to the ocean and we are already planning our next trip back next year! Highly recommend this place!

House on a beach
House is nice, and location great. Pool, hot tub, beach and sun make it an excellent vacation spot. Groceries, fresh seafood and adult beverages located nearby. Be patient. Hurricane Michael & Covid hit area hard, so some restaurants and stores are short staffed. Wish we had another week. Few things needs a little maintenance, especially the grille. Will go back again.

Best Beach Rental—EVER!
I hesitate to write this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review only because I want this property to be available the next time we want to rent it! 🤣 We have rented many beach houses in various areas along 30A, and the Florida coast. This was hands-down, far-and-away, the BEST beach rental we have ever stayed in… Where to even begin? The location: steps to the sand, and your own private walkway. Amazingly isolated beach, with NO crowds (and during Spring Break week!). We found a ridiculous amount of shells, more than we have ever found out of any beach we have been to. Whole mini conch shells, scallop shells, and lettered olive shells. BAGS of them! The kids (and adults) had a blast hunting. On the Cape you can also do your own bonfire on the beach, which we loved. We enjoyed shopping at the Trading Post and little ice cream place next door to it. Hopefully next time we will get around to trying the donuts too. House amenities—we were blown away by all the details, large and small. Two full-sized refrigerator/freezers, which was very helpful for our 6 adults and 3 kids. Every kitchen tool you could possibly need, including glass Tupperware, and even an air fryer. Plenty of counter space, a huge pantry, and a separate bar area and it’s own ice maker which was wonderful for beach cocktails. 🍹 Other details that other rentals often lack—luggage racks for suitcases in each bedroom, laundry baskets, hooks everywhere for towels, and even outlet phone shelves. Beds were so incredibly comfortable—we all slept so well. Tons of extra pillows, and even blackout curtains in the bedrooms. Several plush and cozy throw blankets for the couch, smart TV, and a blu-ray player—this home truly has EVERTHING! Pool was heated, which was absolutely wonderful given the colder temps of the ocean in March. Our kids swam for hours each day. Pool toys were provided, as well as beach toys, beach chairs and towels. Two bikes were available as well. Screened in lower porch allowed us to be “outside” even on our one rainy day. Also good to note—the property is on EST, for purposes of check-in and check-out time. Communication with the owner, Sophi was wonderful. Save yourself searching and book this property now—you won’t be disappointed! ❤️
