Welcome to The Bonita Blue, a uniquely designed home at the base of the foothills in Porterville, just under an hour's drive to both the Sequoia National Park main entrance and Sequoia National Forest and monuments. Centrally located, this is a great launch pad for all your adventures in California! The newly updated home features three bedrooms, including a large primary suite with attached bathroom and huge TV. All bedrooms have luxurious queen beds with fresh linens and storage space for clothes and belongings. A fully equipped kitchen is provided if you're in the mood to cook, but food delivery services such as DoorDash and Uber Eats are also available! The large driveway will fit 2 vehicles comfortable. Bring your kayak or boat if you plan to enjoy Lake Success, just 15 minutes away! During the warmer months you'll be spending all your time out in the backyard gathered around the gas fire pit, showing off your inner grill master at the BBQ, or relaxing in the Jacuzzi listening to the trickle of the waterfall pond. This is truly a gem in Porterville that you're sure to book again on your next trip to central California!

Getting Around
The home is walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery shopping, though driving would be easier. We are roughly an hour from two entrances of the Sequoia National Park. 4 wheel drive and tire chains are strongly encouraged during winter months, and may be required by California Highway Patrol if there's snow in the forecast if you're heading up to the parks or Camp Nelson area.

House Rules
1. Communication is key! Check in after 4pm. Check out by 11am. Our office hours are between 8am-9pm, so please communicate between those hours and let us know if you plan to arrive after 9pm.
2. Honesty is the best policy! Let us know about ALL guests who will be coming to the house. Maximum Occupancy is 6. Pets are allowed, but you must clean up their waste and any fur, etc. Pets must also have a crate or sleeping arrangement, and may not be left alone inside the home. Pet fee is required.
3. No parties! We know this home holds 6 people plus a few infants or small children. We know that's a lot of people in one house, but we request that you respect it as if it's your own. No smoking of any kind. Removal of smoke detectors is illegal. Loud music, excessive rowdiness, excessive drinking, smoking, etc. will result in a $1,000 party fine plus any damage expenses incurred. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am. NO SWIMMING IN THE POND. It is for visual enjoyment only. :)
4. Be respectful! When using outdoor areas (spa, patio, bbq, fire pit, etc.), and provided amenities, please clean up after yourself so the next guests can enjoy them as well. If something is wrong, low, or out, please let us know so we can fix it.
5. Have fun! Our goal is to host a vacation to remember. If you find this is not the house for you, please let us know so we can help you find a home that better fits your needs! With the exception of things out of our control, we'll always do our best to make sure you have the best time!
