The hotel is placed in a good place next to all transportation hubs. The breakfast is ok. The service is not wow, you need to request housekeeping and only if you requested before 9:00 am that day it will be available at the same day. Also when already housekeeping comes it didnt replace towels

I stay here often. I can see restaurant not making it. To close to down town restaurants. The vending machines were taken out, which is ussually from lack of use. Chips, 2 choices of candy bars and 1 type energy bar. Is choices for eating on property. For university owned and student operated, I assume, you have to have better Ideas. Snacks, frozen meal, ice cream, are high profit Item. And with no restaurant, people would buy. In todays economy you must think out of the box. Don't want to see you close. You are close to OHSU on hill and water front. Take advantage of that. Figure out how to fill motel with patients and familys.

Clean, affordable hotel with reasonably priced surface parking downtown and friendly staff. The bed was uncomfortable which is why I can't give this 5 stars but it's a slightly nicer mattress away from being a gem.

The staff checked us in but gave us no directions on how to get to our room or where to park the car. It is a confusing and older hotel that is not being kept up. It used to be a Red Lion, but now seems to be owned by the university. They are not doing a good job of updating it or making your stay pleasant.

They used to have an awesome breakfast. But now it just the basic. They used to have a restaurant and bar, but I guess not anymore. BUT for only $15 plus tax so it was $17.41, I didn't have to check out till 2 pm!!!! I always ask for late check outs so this was so great!

Not a good place to stay
Motel entry was nice and staff were nice. Rooms were very outdated and walls were ripply with water damage. Carpets were very, very old and dirty. Mattresses were thin and more like cots and hard. TV was broken and phone inoperable. There are dangerous people lurking around the hotel and we were accosted on our way out and needed police escort. We did not even stay for the entire night for safety and sanitation reasons and had to stay somewhere else.

The cleanliness of the room was lacking . Their were greasy fingerprints and food on intable and counter top as well as 2 dirty pillow cases. There is also a smell of mildew on the towels and wash rags. The lobbies cleanliness was fantastic and the staff was friendly, unfortunately i will not be staying here in the future due to the neglected cleanliness of room 328.

1970s time warp could be chic selling point, but needs deep cleaning (esp rugs), fresh paint, cleaner upholstery, get rid of 1980s updates. light cleaning on request was ok. room was large & quiet, bath had tub. staff was nice, helpful. cold b'fast w yogurt ok. access to transit right across street very convenient.
