It was ok

What I like with the accommodation is, it is near the bus station; just two minutes away by walking. The room is quite clean as well as the shower and the bathroom, however, the staff were not very friendly and the receptionist was hardly approachable.

a very good deal in Porto

The hotel was in a very convenient location and had a very comfortable bed for a good price. the staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay but would have preferred a shower over a jacuzzi.

Room very clean and comfy, receptionist very kind. But a little far from city center. Takes about 15min walk to get to the center, is walkable but i would prefer to stay closer to the center. there's almost nothing around the neighborhood. But i will have to say i was satisfied overall given the fact that the price was very cheap

Stay away if possible

Rundown hotel in proximity to a metro station and about 15 to 20 minutes walk to the city center. The hotel receptionist might as well not exist. Very hard to try and get any info out of them as they do not understand English. The state of the rooms as well as the fact that the personnel is useless make this hotel a must avoid one.

Nice hotel with busses and taxis very close, there is a nice cafe next door who was very welcoming and looked after us everyday for breakfas. The hotel staff where very friendly and cleaned the room daily throughout our stay, but the best part was the value for money, extremely cheap and did exactly what was needed for us.

A bed with a view

Our room was on the top floor (Room 9) and had the toilet and shower inside the room, with no privacy. The bed sheets were covered with hairs and the pillow case and cushions on the bed were stained. Room otherwise clean. Not sure if the other rooms were any better.

Nice hotel, cheap and "interesting"

It is a very good hotel to spend some time in Porto if you don't mind to stay in a room with an "open" bathroom. At least my room (number 9) it was quite interesting... full of mirrors and decorated with red color. Perfect for some "wild" night. Unfurtunately I was quite uncorfortable with the bathroom in the room... there is no privacy.

The room was placed in the separate building. You have to cross giant puddle and bare with the droplets of water falling on your head from the roof. Then slippery stairs and you are finally on the doors of your room, which on the first sight looks good, but in the course of time you will notice only disadvantages. Freezing cold – air conditioner displayed 48*F and warming the room up took few hours. And even if so-called temperature was 86*F, you could really feel this warm under the air conditioner. The bathroom was even worse. The doors of the shower cabin weren’t closing at all. The towels looked like rags, used ones, maybe few years ago they were white. And in my opinion the worst - damp and mouldiness. Mould covering the walls and ceiling, and water all over the wall-tiles in the bathroom. You could feel the moisture and mustiness in the air. And the last – bed-sheets. Each of the pieces was from a different set, and they looked like no hotel-ones. Some kind of flower patterns that looked like from another era. Also the duvet was missing, we only had even more stinky blanket and sheet. Laying on this gross pillow also wasn’t comfortable. Maybe because it felt like a sack of potatoes. When we arrived the floor looked like just cleaned, but in reality it was just wiped with the dirty rag what the dirt smudged on the floor showed. And also because of the moisture, the floor remained wet for the rest of our stay. Finally, we had 8 lamps but only 3 light-bulbs were working.

okay

booked a triple room for three adults, room and bathroom are generally clean. i guess its family-run. no elevator. no kettle. no wardrobe. no window except one facing the hallway. can park on the streets for free. very close to a supermarket which is great. staff are friendly and can speak basic English. room rate is cheap.
