Formerly a cabinetmaker's workshop, now a charming and comfortable one bedroom gite, the Atelier de Pierre is located in a peaceful canalside village in Burgundy. This beautifully refurbished cottage retains traditional character, but also includes a host of modern comforts. It is at the end of a very quiet cul de sac, with parking for one car.
Downstairs is a spacious kitchen/living room with a fridge, a hob, a kettle, a coffee maker and a microwave. The living area includes a double sofa-bed and a television.
Upstairs is a double bedroom and one bathroom with a toilet, washbasin and walk-in shower.
There is a small outside space with a garden table and chairs.
Linen and towels are all included to make your stay more relaxed.
The village is within easy access of numerous beautiful and interesting places, as well as being on a popular cycle route, the Véloroute du Canal du Nivernais which links the Yonne and the Loire rivers.
There is a direct train connection to Paris in the nearby town of Coulanges-sur-Yonne – 2.5km
The medieval town of Clamecy is 8km away and has most services.
