it's a great location, just what we prefer, close enough to main places yet quiet and away from all the big crowds. The staff is very nice, room was clean and had great view, breakfast was awesome, definitely place to come back to.

Hotel next to Charles Bridge.
A modest traditional looking hotel with an incredible location at the western end of Charles Bridge, on a canal.. Despite its proximity to the passing crowds I was never disturbed by noise from outside. The included buffet breakfast was OK. The single room was very clean, well heated, and fine for one person, however the shower was quite small. Coffee/tea is banned in rooms, but they are available most of the day and night downstairs. Helpful assistance and advice at the reception desk if you ask. For value and location this is a great place to stay if you don't mind an older style small hotel.

Nice hotel near Malostranska Square.
Good location nearby Malostranska Square. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We had to leave before breakfast and the staff was very nice to prepare a bag of food to take with us for our very early am flight. Our room was very nice!

We stayed in a corner room with a view of Charles Bridge . The hotel is just a step from the bridge, short walk to the old town main square. Couldn’t ask for better location. A buffet breakfast was included in the price and the scrambled eggs were the best we ever had. I highly recommend Hotel Certovka to everyone.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Thank you for letting us check in when we arrived much earlier. We liked that they serve good quality breakfast. Location was good, walkable to old town, Prague Castle and other interesting sights. The surroundings including the hotel, which is located under the Charles bridge are picturesque. Will surely recommend Hotel Certovka to friends traveling to Prague.

The Hotel Certvoka is next to the Charles bridge and the area is full of exquisite buildings, monuments and parks along the river; the place is nice and clean, and the breakfast that was included was delicious with a great variety of meals to start your busy day in Prague. I recommend this hotel.

I love that Hotel Certovka is a small property, has a super terrific staff, delicious breakfast, situated right next to Charles Bridge. I stayed in Room 21, from which I sat at the window and watched the crowds of locals and visitors stroll by while listening to the humming of the boat motors as they cruise up and down the canal below.

Bad and Unprofessional customer service ever
I booked this hotel for my wife to celebrate her birthday during 4 days in her favourite city (Prague). So, next is what she experiences with hotel Certovka staying: Unfortunately it was the worst customer service I’ve ever received! The old lady (I guess her name is Evelyn) at the reception desk was so rude and unresponsive for any reason! The sink in my room was plugged up and I complained about it to receptionist on my very first day of staying. The next day it wasn’t fixed and I went to reception and asked nicely about it again, but instead of apology she says (with attitude) that she was in my room and checked it out personally and found nothing wrong with it!?! I have a proof of that sink working improperly and I never asked her for anything else (like my money back or change the room) then I don’t see any reason to be so rude to me, especially on my birthday. Same rude respond I got from her for all my questions regarding the night check out (when nobody/receptionist is there, which is so inconvenient for every customer I spoke to over there) and breakfast to go - she’s basically said that it’s my problems!?!… The only one good thing about this place is its location, but everything else is just not really good. The hotel room was outdated, the shower was so small and not really clean (with no shampoo provided), the room a/c has only cold air mode, the power outlets was so far from the bed and there were just 2 of them. So based on that I wish we should have refund.
Sink was not properly drained by and was not fixed during the whole stay even after 3rd client’s reminder
