Location perfect; close to everything!

The hotel is next to a police station; feeling of safety. Many restaurants nearby. Metro and tram bus a few blocks away. Convenience stores nearby for needed items and fruits. Loved the in room kitchen-in-a-wardrobe cabinet...used daily! Wencelas Square a short walk away, leading to Charles Bridge...easily attainable. Showers in both rooms had issues but still able to shower. Locks on doors looked damaged but still in working order.

Good value hotel, excelling our expectations

Great room, perfect for us. Clean and large. I requested high floor and quiet and thats exactly what we got even though it was on a busy street. The area was a bit red light, which we hadn't expected, but it was fine. Great transport links, metro and tram within a couple of minutes walk. We had cooking facilities but as breakfast was included we didn't raelly use them, but good to have the choice. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. This was a really good value hotel, I'd recommend it.

Good value, clean hotel in quite a central location. Rather warm at night but overall a very good choice.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!!

Great Location! Just 5 minutes up the street are tram/bus stops and a metro station that links you with all major sites with all major sites in a matter of minutes. A great Czech restaurant around the corner next to the I.P Pavlova metro station. The hotel its self was basic for a 3 star hotel, floors were a tad dusty and the air conditioning was broken in the upstairs rooms and no fans were supplied as an alternative, and the traffic outside is very noisy. However they were the only negatives, The breakfast had a good selection and was clean/comfortable, the beds were comfortable and equipt with a kitchen and the bathrooms were clean. For the price and the location overall it was a fair stay and I would stay here again but maybe get a room towards the rear of the building.

Good transport links.

The kitchen in a cupboard was a novelty!! Tea and coffee making facilities does not include the usual tea and coffee, so, take your own. The beds are very comfortable. Our room facing the road was quite noisy when the window was open. This is easily solved by closing the window and putting the air conditioning on. The hotel is close to transport links and there are some lovely restaurants in the vacinity.

Select Hotel Prague

A very nice hotel generally. If you can, get a room at the back of the hotel away from the main road traffic noise. Be careful of the windows which have no safety features, they open inwards and have no barriers, so young children could easily fall from these. This is especially important for high floor rooms.

Value For Money

This hotel is close to the centre of town - just a 5min walk to Wenceslas Square. Our room was on the 5th floor but there's a lift and the room was massive - came with a little kitchenette which was an unexpected bonus. The staff were great. The only down side was the internet connection kept on dropping out. Overall great value for money.

Good Hotel, value for money

The room was quite nice and spacious. The hotel was very well maintained and clean. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was very good as well. I would definitely recommed this place to my friends. Was defintely 'value for money'.

Great choice for the price!

The Select Hotel was actually more than I expected for the price. We came expecting a small simple room...but we found a very large room with high ceilings. The breakfast buffet was more than enough for the price we paid, and the room was well-heated (Prague was -12C). The Hotel was located within walking distance to the Museum, Old Town and all the tourist must-sees. We will most certainly stay here again.

Hotel Select in Prague

Staffs were very accommodating and understanding. It's a basically updated hostel. Nothing fancy. Close to public transportation. Inexpensive. Only problem is, the hotel is located in a fast moving traffic street. The noise from the passing vehicles was so loud. If you are lucky, you can have a room on the backside of the building.

Great value for money, reception are helpful, breakfast was a little lacking but plenty of places to grab food nearby. Czechs don't seem to take time keeping seriously... so if booking transport its worth sticking it for half hour earlier than you want it, other than that awesome place, good hotel.

Great hotel, Recommended

I was really pleased with this hotel, the staff were friendly, helpfull & spoke good english. The room was much bigger than expected,& included a kitchen area, (a well stocked minibar) plenty of storage space, a safety deposit box in the room, TV & a good size bathroom. The proper air conditioning was certainly needed on my stay in mid June as the temp & humidity was high. There is free Wi-Fi access & also is a pc in the front room to use. I kept missing the breakfast (late nights drinking) so cant comment. Great location too, Wenceslas square is only 10 minutes walk away & the old town square a further 10 minutes. If you want to go further afield & dont want to walk, a main metro & tram stop is 5 minutes around the corner at I.P. Pavlova. Many small supermarkets on the doorstep as well as bars & pubs. Maybe the one bad point could be the main road the hotel is situated on. It was busy at certain times but the double glazing was good & im a heavy sleeper so it didn't affect me at all. Overall, the location is great, the price & quality is perfect & i would definatly stay there again. Recommended.

Great hotel

Really nice hotel, 10 - 15 min walk from Wenceslas square, so walkable, but also 5 mins from a tube if you're not up for the walk. Breakfast was great, loads of choice. Hotel was nice and warm and beds and showers were great. Looked exactly like it does in the pictures. Very pleased.

Better than expected

The hotel was a ten minute walk to the top end of Wenceslaus Square and about a twenty minute walk to the old town. Returning to the hotel was on a route which was partially uphill. It was in a very quiet location. The hotel room, although quite basic, was spacious and warm and the bed very comfortable. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast room was a little on the small side to accommodate the number of guests, so it was not always easy to get a table. The TV did not have as many channels as indicated although this was not an issue as we did not want to spend time watching tv. However, it would have been nice to be able to view a news channel. I would stay in the hotel again.

Mycket lyhörd. Hela hotellet mer eller mindre stinker rök. Av föregående anledning provade vi inte ens att äta frukosten som ingick i priset. Rummet såg rent ut och luktade fräscht, men dammlagret på golvet och odefinerbara korta hårstrån i bl.a. skålen med tvålpaketen och madrassen på extrasängen hamnade inte direkt under samma kategori. För att inte tala om lukten som kom emot en när man öppnade kylskåpet. Våra manliga, kedjerökande och ständigt nersupna rumsgrannar försökte ta kontakt/ väcka oss/ göra intrång på vårt rum flera gånger flera nätter i rad. Så det hjälpte inte att säga till i receptionen. vad ska jag säga.. kanske vad man bör ha förväntad sig för priset, men inte bakom fyra stjärnor. Jag kommer inte att återvända till detta hotell

Tæt på metro og sporvogn

Dejlig stor lejlighed til en pris der er lavere end de fleste små hotelværelser. Morgenmaden var fin med flere slags frisk brød,ost, pålæg, marmelade, honning og lune æg, der var alt det kaffe og juice du havde lyst til at drikke. Alt i alt havde vi et godt ophold på hotellet .

Cozy and Easy to get to sightseeing :)

Cozy at night and quite region,a bit far from old town but easy to get there by public transportation :) no slipers sadly though. everything else was quite recommendable.
