We spent our 10 year anniversary at B&B La Barbera and had an amazing time. The only thing better than the views are the wonderful staff that work there. They truly treat you like family, making sure all your needs are meet. Special thanks to Sylvia for all her kindness, she is so sweet, and we never forget her.

This hotel is just amazing and one of the most memorable hotels I stayed in. Amazing location with super clean and beautiful rooms with private views of the Amalfi coast. The breakfast is superb and staff are very friendly and helpful. When I go back to Amalfi, I will reserve this hotel before booking my flight.

Celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary with a stay at B&B La Barbera was just perfect. Sylvia was the best hostess. Answering any questions, helping with dinner recommendations, whatever we needed she was there for us. What a beautiful pleasant person. Amazing stay at La Barbera. Sylvia, Roberto and Francesco were incredibly helpful with all aspects of our stay. The view from our terrace was spectacular! Breakfast was delicious! Amazing place , the team really look after you one of the best hotels have ever stayed at incredible. Book direct though not through expedia, issues with flights also booked through them nearly ruined the holiday and have spent hours on with chat agents to sort it out and they are no help at all.

From the Prosecco on our arrival to the thoughtful gift on our departure, our stay at La Barbera simply couldn’t have been better. Silvia, Roberto, Francesco and the rest of the team constantly went out of their way to ensure that my wife and I had the best possible experience. The hotel (I know it’s technically a B&B, but it was so much more than that) is located high above the village of Praiano, with a spectacular view from each of the five rooms along the Amalfi coast past Positano and all the way to Capri. The hotel itself is cleverly designed and was spotlessly clean throughout, and our room was amazing, with a massage shower and a hot tub (an unexpected bonus!) just two of the many luxury touches. Breakfast, served al fresco on the terrace, was one of the highlights of each day and was an experience that will live long in our memories. Another of the highlights was dining at a number of the local restaurants and cafes (recommended by Francesco), all of which were excellent, both in terms of the quality of the food and drink and the friendly and efficient customer service. In summary, La Barbera was one of the best - if not the best - hotel that we have stayed in, and we both had a wonderful time. If you’re thinking about making a booking, do it - you won’t be disappointed!

The Team: Silvia, Roberto, Francesco, Gelsomina and Anna are the kindest, warmest people you will meet. You will instantly feel that your comfort is their top priority. You could not be in better hands. The Property: Immaculately maintained and so thoughtfully designed and curated. You could eat off the floors. It is so evident that there is a level of pride of ownership that is rarely seen. Anything that is supposed to shine, shines. The smells of the property evoke cleanliness. The Suite: Magical. What's important to call out is there's no real segregation between the "cheapest" and "most expensive" rooms. Anyone who's lucky enough to stay here will experience very much the same level of luxury, because the baseline of every suite is quite literally, luxury. The private terrace is the star of the show with sun loungers, a hot tub and outdoor shower! The Breakfast: Unreal. Creamy cappuccinos, detox water, fresh juices, homemade cakes, locally made cheeses, dairy and yogurt (life changing), fresh fruits, cold cuts, fresh bread... You will not find another breakfast like this anywhere. Overall: If I could give B&B La Barbera 10 out of 5 ☆, I would. We will DEFINITELY be back. This was the highlight of our vacation. Highly recommend!

We felt like family here. Sylvia, Roberto and Francesco were all so polite and accommodating. Sylvia greeted us and as we were between lunch and dinner yet hungry, she offered us some small bites to tide us over until dinner (which were amazing!). She helped us with making dinner reservations too. We had our 13 year old son with us and Sylvia was so nice to talk to him and make him feel special too. She also made sure we had a to-go bag of food and drinks when we had a 5 am taxi ride to our train. This was the best service I've ever had at a hotel or B&B. The room was amazing - the balcony and view just make it such a wow factor! We were able to walk to restaurants and shops, but I will warn that it is on the side of a mountain and there were a lot of steep stairs to get up and down! There is a bus available if you don't want to do stairs.

LaBarbera is a beautiful Bed and Breakfast, run by the most wonderful people. It is immaculately kept and is lovely. The rooms are spacious and have their own large patio. My room had a hot tub and overlooked the coast. The hosts go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The food is delicious with so many options. The communication was fantastic. I had many conversations with Roberta prior to our stay and she responded without delay. The only problem with the B&B was leaving because I did not want to leave!

amazing stay! stunning views of Positano coastline and sea. Silvia and Roberto were excellent hosts. very kind and friendly and mostly very helpful. We had a wonderful check in with a chilled beverage and tasty homemade sweets. Room was amazing, lots of shelf space inside. Beautifully appointed room newly renovated. Outdoor deck with hot tub and two lounge chairs top notch. Bedding very comfortable and a great shower. This BB is a must stay location!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my stay here. This was my first time in Italy and I enjoyed my stay here the most. First of all, I have never seen a hotel so clean. Impeccably clean! Sylvia and Roberto are kind and attentive. I was a solo travel and they went above and beyond to help me find dining options and transportation. The Amalfi Coast is not exactly the easiest place when it comes to transportation but the staff here made the experience less daunting and way more manageable. I highly recommend staying in Praiano for those who want to avoid the crowds. The private terrace was a major plus. Breakfast here was also a peaceful and enjoyable experience. I felt like I had my own slice of paradise. I highly recommend this place and if I am ever in the Amalfi Coast I will be staying here. Thank you so much for hospitality.
