Relax with the whole family at this peaceful gated condominium just 2 minutes walk from the beach. This luxurious apartment is equipped with AC in bedrooms, wifi, cable, dishwasher, stainless steel appliances and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you will need. Adult and children's pools in a beautiful enclosed courtyard with 24 hour security. Enjoy restaurants by the beach and excursions in town.

ELECTRICITY USE

Electricity is VERY expensive in Costambar. Because of this, upon arrival, you will register at the administration office and a reading of the electric meter will be taken. At check-out time, the electric meter will be read again.

For short-term stays (3 to 6 nights):

• Your rental includes 20kWh/day. If your consumption is above the included 20kWh/day, each additional kWh will be charged at US$0.35 per kWh.

For long-term stays (7 or more nights):

• Your rental includes 140kWh per week. If you consume above this limit a US$20 charge will be added plus US$0.50 per kWh above the limit.

• I your stay isn't a an even week number like 7 or 14 nights, the remaining days will be billed using the "short-term" tariff above.

We highly recommend keeping the AIR CONDITIONERS off when not in use, and set at above 21°C or above when in use.

CLEANING

Our cleaning fee covers cleaning and disinfecting of all surfaces, laundry, making the beds, tidying up all areas and replenishing consumables. We ask guests to wash their own dishes and collect all trash in the provided plastic bags and dispose of them in the garbage cans located outside the condominium on Cadiz Street.

Good basic accommodation

No provision was made for our arrival after 4 pm. Other kind residents of the condo building came to our rescue, tracked down the keys and showed us in. The host’s rules for the apartment were posted in the kitchen (like no smoking, no pets, electrical consumption, etc.) but were not stipulated at the time of renting. That could have caused a problem for some people. A/c in the living room was unreliable and the host was very slow to respond to messages. Wifi signal was weak—no wifi in one bedroom. Location of the unit within the complex was inconvenient: pool was directly below the apartment but the stairs were at the opposite end of the building. Big shortcoming: NO MICROWAVE in the kitchen. Also, the flatware was very limited (only 4 of each). It was nice to have a pump at the sink for drinking water but it occasionally left deposits of something in the water—a little disconcerting. The beds were comfortable, and pool/beach towels were provided. There was a laundry machine (washer-dryer) in the unit, but we didn’t use it. Overall, the apartment was comfortable and quiet (except for the nightclub down the street) and we enjoyed our stay.
